WELCOME! to the D.S.U. Band Web page. We have much to offer to both the serious musician and the non-music major who simply enjoys participation in instrumental music.
The Wind Ensemble is a DSU's premiere performing group selected by audition.The ensemble performs several times during the school year, both on campus and throughout the state. Musical programs include a mixture of the traditional selections and new literature for the advanced wind band.
The Marching Statesmen are on the move with many performing opportunities on the horizon, a new image, and the largest membership in many years. We pride ourselves on performing at football games and Marching Band Festivals throughout the state.
Plenty of opportunities are available for participation in jazz Bands, pep bands, and smaller ensemble of all varieties.
