Who Killed Murphy Brown? (1992)

"No, It Wasn't Dan Quayle!" as the ad campaign stated.
A spoof of the famous TV show, "Murphy Brown" has 4 characters of the show placed under house arrest for the murder of the title news reporter. The geeky, weasle-like Miles; hot-headed house painter Eldin; raspy-voiced bartender Phil; and stiff-as-concrete Jim Dial.
Cabin fever starts to set in on the four men, as they each think one or the other was responsible for the murders. Soon, murder happens and the last one left will find out who did commit the title act.

Behind The Scenes:

Scott considers this one of his above average films, not for the shoddy production or weak script, but for the energetic performances. "I think Arthur and I both captured the spirit of the characters and did well with our acting." he says. "After the train wreck we had with 'Corporate Business', this was a nice way to have a comeback."
Scott does say if there was one thing he could change about the film, it would be the music, which includes THE CARPENTERS. "Nothing against them, they did some decent music in the 1970's. But it was too jarring and out of place on here."
