Blood Puzzle (1992)

Scott's final film of 1992 is a twisted mystery telling the story of Ryan Forsythe (Tim Arthur), who comes to spend the winter with his Uncle Clark (Scott) and Aunt Catherine. Upon his arrival, Ryan finds out that his Aunt had left a few days earlier, according to his Uncle, she just left him. Unsatisfied with his blah attitude towards the whole thing, Ryan starts to dig around and finds out that something may have happened to her. Soon, people Ryan know start to die as he gets closer to finding out the answers.

Behind The Scenes:

Scott was generally unhappy with the way that Blood Puzzle wound up turning out.
"This had the potential to be a decent mystery, but after writing it I found out that it had so many twists that it pretty much knotted itself into a strangle hold." says Scott. "The filming had problems, it was the dead of winter in December of 1992, we had camera problems that really set off my temper. But, the film is worth watching at least once just to see the final 15 minutes. I still feel today that part of the film is some of the best I've ever done."
