Pre Rip Check

   
Before we begin the Ripping process let's get a few things straight :-
 
- This guide currently only supports the PAL video format, so that means
  you should only try to rip Region 2 DVD's (European) using this guide.
  Do not try to use Region 1 DVD's (USA) with this guide or the results
  will look very bad. 
 
- This guide helps you to produce VCD's and SVCD's and has nothing to
  do with DivX.
 
- The guide does NOT show you how to include subtitles with your Rip
  but we may implement this sometime in the future.
 
- The guide only shows you how to rip the English audio at the moment
  but this will change as soon as we come up with a simple way to
  allow you to do this.
 
- Yes you do need a DVD-Rom drive to be able to do this.
