The Haunting (1999)
A newspaper ad lures many people with
insomnia to a huge mansion secluded in the middle of
nowhere. The whole thing is supposed to be a test,
but there's much more to it when a malevolent spirit
starts to terrorize them all. Something is trying to
be said, but will they ever find out the
truth?
I didn't really understand this 1999
remake because of it's confusing conclusion. I
thought a lot of parts were especially tense, but
nothing ever really happened. This didn't exactly
appeal to me very much at all, and it didn't make it
any better, due to to the long running
time.
