Death Mask
Death Mask stars James Best and Linnea Quigley (my favorite actress in the whole world), and is about a traveling carnival that beholds psychics, dancers, abnormalities, and other things that will amaze and astonish you! But among these sideshow carnies is Wilbur Johnson (James Best), a man who had his face burned by his psychotic father, who was a sideshow clown. People constantly make fun of his face, so he has to wear a special covering for his scar. But there is one person who befriends Wilbur: Angel (Linnea Quigley), a beautiful sideshow dancer. Wilbur makes masks for the carnival, but no one appreciates them, except for Angel, who leads Wilbur to a witch, where he sells his soul to make people love his masks. But everything goes wrong, and his latest creation can inflict a horrible death on anyone who stares straight into the eyes!
Despite its low production value, I thought Death Mask was a pretty nice horror film that I had been hunting down for years, until I came upon it at a video store sale. Now, I call that good luck! If you enjoy horror movies, this is your kind of flick, especially if you worship scream queen goddess Linnea Quigley, as I do!
