The above pictures were taken on the morning of 20 March 2001
between 03 and 04 UT on the island of Terschelling, Netherlands (53,3 N, 5,3E)
exposures of 40 seconds at Kodak Portra 800 with a 24 mm f/2,0 nikkor lens at 2,0 to 4,0.
During the display the upper aurora was lit by sunlight.
The vertical red lines in the far right side of the pictures is
internal reflection in the film scanner.
Weather conditions were extremely clear after snowfall.
