Making it's start as a Marvel Comic Book series, Blade left the readers craving for something more. A MOVIE!!! It starts out with a woman being carried on a gurney by paramedics. Shortly after that we see she has given birth to a baby. But the mother, who has strange marks on her neck, is dying from loss of blood and the last scene we see of that, is her reaching out for her baby.
Jump to present day with a car zipping down the streets. Inside the car we see two characters, a man and woman. Zip past that part and we see the woman leading the guy into a club where she walks away from him to dance with someone else. As the guy is trying to fit in he is getting pushed and shoved from every direction, then we see the sprinkler system come on and blood pouring out in every direction. As the guy is looking around we see that every person in the night club is a Vampire!! UH-OH for him right? Well as he gets shoved around he falls to his knees and tries to make a crawl for it but runs into someone's feet. Who could this be and what is going to happen to the poor sap? It's the movie's hero, Blade! With a plenty of lightning quick moves he dispatches plenty of the vamps and rescues that poor guy. Then just a quickly as he came, he is gone again.
Now jumping near the end (wouldn't want to tell the whole movie) Blade is seeking out a vampire by the name of Deacon Frost, who wants to become this La Magra or Vampire God. In the end Frost turns into La Magra. Blade and Frost end up in a big fight scene where the fate of the world is decided by the winner. If Frost wins then he is free to turn anyone into a vampire. If Blade wins then the world is safe for another day. Watch the movie and see who wins.
