Synopsis
& Review:
This is the last of the Prophecy series.
In a desperate attempt to cash in on the unique story, Patrick Lussier directs
the final chapter. Lussier was an editor in the famous Scream series, so he
has learned a few things from Wes Craven. Christopher Walken does return to
portray the now ex-Angel Gabriel, but the story lacks the luster of the first
two.
After being turned into a human, the ex-Angel
Gabriel, is left on the earth to wonder for the rest of his existance. Lucky
for him he stumbles across a battle between the all grown up Angel/ Human from
the previous movie, and a new pissed off Angel.
This new Angel has come to earth to hunt down
this sinful Angel/Human child, and it is up to Gabriel to rekindle his faith
and help the boy. Will the Angel/Human accept Gabriel's help, or will he have
to clash with the Angel all by himself?
This movie is the last of the series, which
pretty much speaks for itself. I didn't really like it, it lost alot of the
suspence from the first movies and was predictable till the end. I much
prefered Gabriel as a bad guy, instead of the good guy which he was in this
film. But this was an attempt to make Gabriel go out on a good note. Like the
second movie, this one went straight to video, and it's no wonder why. Incase
your like me and you have to see what happens in a series, skip it.....skip it
good!
