Synopsis & Review:  When the previous movie in the series bombs, go back to the begining and examine something you missed (yes, thats one of the rules identified in Scream 3). The author of the origional Exorcist, William Peter Blatty, is called in to write the final chapter in the series.

A NYPD Homicide Detective (George C. Scott), is investigating several bizzare serial murders. These murders seem to point a finger at an event that took place several years before, when a young girl was possessed by a demon and two priests were sent in to do the exorcism.

What is the connection? Find out when you watch because I'm not going to tell you what happens.

All that can be said about this movie is that it is the conclusion to the series. People who enjoyed the first Exorcist movie, and disliked the second, will enjoy the third and final (...for now anyway.) installment.
