Synopsis:
For young Charley
Webster, nothing could be better than an old horror movie late at night. A new
family moves in next door, and for Charley with his experience, there can be
no doubt that their strange behavior is explained by the fact that they are
vampires. The only one who can help him hunt them down is a washed-up actor,
Peter Vincent, who hosts Charley's favorite TV show. Vincent doesn't really
believe that vampires exist, but does it for the money...
My
Review: While the film
isn't scary, isn't gory, and has no scares what so ever, I still really enjoy
this film. Its almost a comedy.
Charley
knows that a vampire is living next door to him, he's seen the guy kill! But
the more he tries to prove that his neighbor is a vampire the more everyone
thinks he's gone crazy.
For
such an old cheesy film, the acting is pretty good, the music is pretty good,
the attempts at scares is alright, and the effects just suck nowadays. But
still I find myself able to watch this film over and over again. So if you're
looking for a film that fits that description this ones for you, or if some
night you have nothing better to do, and it happens to be on TV, or you can't
find anything good at the video store, try checking this one out. You may find
you enjoy it.
