My
Review: I saw the first
film to this trilogy, and I thought this one would pretty much follow the same
path. At least with the first film I could sit through it, and it was a pretty
good storyline (as far as I can remember, I saw it long ago).
When
I rented the film, I thought it was going to be a horror movie, but instead it
almost seemed like a gay soft-core porn or something. Seriously, throughout
the whole movie, the 4 guys are sitting around in the underwear, or licking
each others fingers/faces.
There
is a scene in the movie where I swear they were doing an advertisement for
sunglasses. I mean really, they showed the guys walking in slow motion, with
their silly sunglasses, trying to look cool. All the other students look at
the guys almost as if they are God or something. The scene had to have lasted
at least 5 minutes.
Gore:
What gore. There wasn't any at all. Yeah, sure there were murders, but there
was only fake blood lying on the ground, or at one point, on a guys neck. Way
too fake, and really boring.
Character
Development: There wasn't
too much of a development of any of the characters except for the beginning of
the film. They show you each guy, and tell you something about them. Other
then that, those are the only people we really get to know anything
about.
Sexual
Content:
Sure there is lots of suggestive scenes with the main guys towards each other.
There is also a scene where they pretty much have their way with a girl, but
they don't show anything. Not even a tit shot. So my question is why the
hell is it rated with a warning on the box? I don't even think they swear once
in the film.
Acting:
Overall the acting totally sucked. John (Sean Faris) and Mary (Stacey
Scowley) were the strongest actor and actress in the film by far. Perhaps they
will get better roles in better films. Sean Faris has already appeared in
Pearl Harbor. Unfortuanatly I saw another bad horror movie that Stacey Scowley
appeared in, Hell Asylum.
Overall:
Don't waste any money at
all on this film. I really wish I didn't. It isn't even worth using as a drink
coaster!
