6/23/01: Melissa sent this in: Ryan's character in We Were Soliders has a name! He's Sgt. Savage. Also at this site they're called an end to filming for We Were Soliders on Tuesday June 26.
Also in this weeks Entertainment Weekly they asked celebrities who was on their It list (In case you couldn't tell it's the "Annual It List" edition). Here's what Joshua Jackson had to say, "Ryan Hurst [Remember the Titans] is one of the few actors who's consciously in control of everything he does. Plus, he's like 6'5" and 240 pounds. Are you gonna tell this guy he's no good?"
Just thought ya'll would enjoy that.

5/18/01: Added three new pics to the Remember The Titans section. Well two of them are posters from other countries, but they do have Ryan on them. Plus, I just think stuff like that is cool.
This website says they've changed the name of We Were Soliders Once...and Young to We Were Soliders.

Word on tha street is that Lone Star State of Mind is slated for a Spring 2002 release (moved back from a Fall 2001 date). And I'll tell ya that that word from the street sucks. We just have to wait some more... Go here for more info.
But word on tha street also says that We Were Soliders Once...and Young is slated for a December 2001 release. Hmmm....right around time when the mad rush for award nominations is.... Go here for more info. (BTW, filming is going on at Fort Hunter Liggett in California)
5/8/01: Ali sent in this info on The Woman Every Man Wants: Gabriela Tagliavini, the director, said that they just sold TWEMW to a company in Cannes where it will hopefully get distribution. Other than that, no plans for a video yet. Thanks to Ali for emailing her and getting that info!!
4/30/01: I was watching E! News Daily and saw a section mentioning Ryan's movie Lone Star State of Mind. If you wanna catch it it'll be on again at the following times: Tues, May 1 7/6 AM ET and Tues, May 1 1/12 PM ET. I'd suggest checking your local listings.
I had my digital camera and took a picture the next chance I got, when he was on. It's not the greatest, but remember, I took it off the TV. Go here. I'll go ahead and add it to the pics page too. =)
4/17/01: Filming for We Were Soliders... moved from Columbus, GA to California a few weeks ago.
4/11/01: If you tune in to cable station USA Networks on May 16th at 7:00 pm ET you can catch Ryan on JAG. The episode is called "Shadow". Check your local listings for exact info. Thank you Miami! Also Miami sent in a pic, so go there and see it.
Ok so after like ten years I'm finally gonna work on transcribing the Later appearance. (I had lost the tape it was on and I found it last night). I'll start that tonight and it'll be up sometime next week.

3/7/01: Chapin and Dan provided some news so here goes...Ryan began filming Lone Star State of Mind with Joshua Jackson (Pacey on Dawson's Creek)near the end of January.
His next film is with Mel Gibson, entitled We Were Soldiers Once...and
Young which Dan thinks began filming this week.
3/6/01: Remember the Titans is going on sale March 20 in VHS and DVD format. So save some of your tax return money and go get it. Also I added two new pics from RTT that Melissa provided.

10/14/00: Ryan was on Later with Cynthia Garrett on Tuesday October 10, 2000. And he was also in an article in US Weekly for October 16, 2000, along with his fellow Remember the Titans castmates Wood Harris, Donald Faison, and Kip Pardue.
Whenever I can I will put up a transcript from the Later appearance and the article from US Weekly.
