Chapter Four
Ruth went into Rose's old room and found her
daughter crying.
"Rosie, what's wrong?" Ruth asked
her.
"Mother, I love Jack. You know that, and
all you wanted me to do when I was here was nothing," Rose replied
sharply, still crying.
"Rose, I know you love Jack, but
wouldn't it be a bit awkward?" Ruth asked.
"No, not if we're truly in love, and we
are," Rose replied.
"Let's go. You need to see Tasha and
Jason anyway," Ruth said, taking her hand.
Rose went downstairs and hugged Tom, then
kissed Jack in front of them.
"We better go," Rose said.
"Yeah, we need to go see Tasha and
Jason," Jack said.
"And Greg and Annike," Ruth said.
"They're still together?" Rose
asked.
"Yeah. I think Greg's popping the
question on their three year anniversary," Ruth said.
"Well, we better go," Rose said.
"Bye, Rose. Love you," Ruth said.
"Bye, Mom. See you, Dad," Rose
said.
Jack took Rose's hand and they were off to
see their best friends Tasha, Jason, Greg, and Annike.
