Sith Garb

There is an inner shirt and an outer shirt.
There is a scarf/stole attached to the neck of the outer garment like a collar that is 5 1/2" wide at the neck and is 5 3/4" wide at the base.
The outer shirt is lined, and it drops to the waist and then splits into two side panels. There is a pleat-like thing to allow for shoulder expansion. There is a flap which is also lined on the back of the garment that extends down about 3" below the waist . The shoulder areas are pleated for free range of movement with the pleats posted forward. The top of the sleeves gather into the darts that form fit the sleeve from about just below the elbow down to the wrist. There also appears to be two flaps of material one on each side in front that attaches at the waist.
The inner shirt is sleevless and not lined with a stand up collar with 4 band/seams. It falls just below the knee in length and the sides are split up to the bottom of the rib cage. It is a simple fron and back. the fron collor/trim has a tripple band/seam and there is a fold over at the shoulder 1 1/2" in from the tripple seam of the front trim. It it cut generously for ease of movement.
The obi that goes beneath the belt also has a flap attached to it.

Fabric Recomendations

The inner sleevless shirt and pants are linen.
The outer shirt is a poplin. The flaps (collar/stole, flaps below the belt) were differant, but I would use the poplin.
The cloak is made with a heavy cotton duck for the hood and lapels and the pleated portion.
About all those flaps...
BTW the center panel below the waist is part of the 'under' belt and the 2 flaps just out are the 'stole' from the neck hanging down. The final 2 flaps are sewn into the waist of the outer jacket. The inner shirt is real simple - no sleeves, split front and back, drops to just below knee level and is only sewn for about 6" under the arm.
For outfit, you can use raw silk. It has the right texture...but alas, you will have to dye the HELL out of it. Also, it's EXPENSIVE, and this is a no budget page, so I have to say, "I personally don't recommend it."
