Setting One's Hand on Fire

1. You will first nead some pure spirits (medical, vodca etc.). It doesn't matter if it's denaturated.
2. Then mix out with water to a less than 50%. Drain a bit of cloth and put fire to it. It will probably burn to ashes. But you will notice that at first it was only the spirits that burned.
3. If the cloth was damaged then put in some more water. Repeat step 2 untill the cloth was undamaged. But remember, the more spirits, the brighter flames. 4. Now it is time to try on your hand.
Be careful, I won't feel responsible it you hurt yourself.
Dip your fingertip in the solution and set fire to it. You will notice when it gets too warm, then put it out.
5. Now try your whole hand, but be carefull. The higher points (like your fingertips if you hold your hand upwards) will get warm faster, so hold it in the horizontal plane. The flames might "drip" too, but nothing will be damaged, cause the flames aren't warm enough.

I have received an email that a nine year old child severly burnt his hand while doing this stunt. Let me again stress that this should be done in controlled situations with proper safety procedures.
