New Orleans was absolutely fantastic!!! If you haven't been there ... go there!

Here's one of the Cathedrals in New Orleans, which we discovered when we went wandering aimlessly through a park one afternoon.
This here is the 'rich' section of the above-ground cemetary ...
as compared to the 'poor' section.

I happened to like streets in New Orleans. I thought they looked funky, and I insisted on repeatedly using the word 'funky' to describe them, which is a word I don't use all that often, but it just suited them. The following is my favourite street in all of the French Quarter. It just looked ... funky.
This is our last night in New Orleans. We're enjoying hot, hot chocolate on a slightly cold night at the Celebration in the Oaks, which is an incredible lights display spanning over a park which is, if I recall correctly (which I probably don't) twice the size of Central Park.
