Just to let the fans of the Heavenly Sword and Dragon Saber know that this is not an story that focuses on the main star Gigi and Lawrence. So don't complain if Gigi or Lawrence don't get the spotlight.
I loved the ending to that show, and I think that no one could have done it better. But I also love the complexity and the loyalty that the author portrayed in the 7 brothers of Wudong. So mainly I am borrowing the talented Jin Yong's supporting cast. This story will begin will begin when Lawrence was still in the cave learning his kungfu. And it will extend to the point where he becomes the leader of the Ming Sect, and marries Gigi.
For those of you that didn't watch the show, here's a brief summary, there were seven brothers of Wudong, and they're known for their heroic feats and for being just and noble. The 4th brother and 7th brother have died and the 3 brother have lost all his kung fu. This story focuses on the 2nd brother. Yu Lin Zhou. He has a son that would become lead guy of my story.
Yu Lok Sun aka Sun -Louis Koo
Only son of Yu Lin Zhou. Was raised in Wudong Mountain and believe strictly in the code of honor that his father passed down to him. Later in the story he fell in love with a woman from Eva (Yi Fa Gong) Palace. The Master of Eva palace has been the arch nemesis if the rigthous sect for 100s of years. His love for this woman will place him in a delicate position between dark and light.
Yang Zhi Lin aka Zhi Lin - Vicki Zhao
The 2nd disciple of Eva Palace, has the love of her master and even though she knows that her master is not always right she is completly loyal to her master. Her loyalty is about to be put to the test when her love for Sun is tossed on the scale with her loyalty to her master.
San San - Lee San San
She lived with Sun (Louis) on Wudong Mountain for all her life. They have been friends ever since they were young. Everyone thought that Sun would marry San San when he is older, but fate had other plans in store for Sun.
Mok Hong Yen aka Yen - Kristy Yang
The first disciple of Eva palace and has a interesting relationship with Vicki. They're friends, but not friends at the same time.
Chin Fei aka Fei - Alec Su
He plays an important role in the second part of the story and would toss Vicki into a love triangle between him and Louis. The son of a rich manor that owns lots of property, he saw Vicki on one of his outings and feel in love with her at first sight. He vowed that he would give her the best life possible and make her be the happiest woman on the face of this earth.
Qing Qing - Ruby Lin
She loved Alec and was always there for him, but Alec always treated her like a sister. Yet she still loved him and did everything for him unconditionally.
Here's a brief summary of the story, Sun (Louis Koo) would meet Zhi Lin (Vicki) and they would fall in love. Because of their title and their sect they could not be together. Five years passed and Vicki met Chin Fei (Alec) and Alec feel in love with Vicki right off the bat. They were getting married only to have Louis show up and stir up chaos. Who would Vicki choose in this love triangle? Louis or Alec.
Of course there is some other nifty twist and turn that makes each one of their love memorable. I want to explore in this story what is love, what is it to love, and what it is like to be loved. A brief apology, this is a replication well sort of copy of the idea of ATE regarding Ada Louis and Roger's love story. I loved how they did it. Terrific
