Vincent goes under the law to contact a gene broker (Tony Shalboub). A gene broker deals out the lives of the fallen elite who can no longer function in that perfect world. Vincent is given the life of one man named Jerome Morrow (Jude Law), who now paralyzed, is no longer a decent competitor in the work force.

Vincent passes the gates by using Jerome's body matter to pass the genetic tests, into the Gattaca Aerospace Corporation. Vincent longs to go up to space and now using Jerome's identity, has been given the oppurtunity for a mission to the distant Titan; provided that his genetically imperfect identity is not discovered. No imperfect trace of body matter can be left anywhere.

Unfortunately, the already daunting challenge is made more difficult when an employee at Gattaca is murdered bringing a crowd of detectives to the scene of the crime. The police force includes Vincent's genetically superior brother, Anton Freeman (Loren Dean).
