The zombies in this third installment of Romero's 'Dead' series are the most realistic out of the series. Even more realistic than Night of the Living Dead 1990. Well thats in my opinion. The one above is Savini's rotting type of zombie.
The zombie Bub sort of looks like one of the zombies from Dawn of the Dead but alot better. He is a zombie that has been around for just a little while. A little bit of rotting has already started.
Here is a pic of one of the zombies in the feast scene at the end of the movie. He seems to have been dead the same amount of time Bub has been dead.
