#1:The teaser trailer is online!! Check it either by going to MSN or See it directly by clicking right here. It's cool as hell! Well it's Pie 2 so it's gotta be cool. Thanks to the guy who alerted me, I don't remember your name. Sorry. Well, enjoy..

#2:

I was on my way to get the lyrics for "Along Comes Mary" on www.bloodhoundgang.com and stumbled upon this:

"Bloodhound Gang Featured On American Pie 2 Soundtrack! The American Pie 2 soundtrack (to be released July 24, 2001) will feature a new song by the Bloodhound Gang titled "Jackass". Orginally recorded for the soundtrack to MTV's show, Jackass, the song was turned down by Johnny Knoxville himself (he stated there were too many songs in the world with the name "Jackass" or similar derivitives). This also marks the first recording we've done with Willie The New Guy since he joined the band in 1999. Speaking of Jackass, the soundtrack will feature "Boom" which was Mr. Knoxville's top choice. He goes into detail about us in the liner notes and even reminded us that he once interviewed us (for Bikini magazine; I remember drinking beer with him and trying to make trash cans explode)."

"He's a 60-year-old in a high schooler's body," says Eddie, 20, of American Pie's Finch. Following a turn as the title character in Tom Green's Freddy Got Fingered, he returns as the pseudo-sophisticate with a penchant for wooing older women in Pie 2. Will Finch still carry a torch for Stifler's mom? All of us are betting he will- and his experiences with New York University females will surely come in handy. "He's still Finch," Eddie says. "[But] he learns a few things in college." Thanks to Lucas

The first publicity stills have been released! Berge Garabedian aka JoBlo at www.joblo.com/movienews sent me these two pics (they can also be found at his site)! They spoil nothing big unless this is your first peek at AP2 - the best sequel ever. I hope.

#1: I recieved this article from an anonymous scooper:

Adam Herz, Chris Klein & Seann William Scott talk about AP2

There's nothing funny about shooting American Pie 2, where the top secret atmosphere seems more in line with planning a military coup than making a sequel. "Originally, my first drafts were very rough... I covered the whole thing in notes that said, 'If you show it to anyone, I'll kick your butt,'" explains Herz, who went so far as to submit the script (then called Secret Disguise) under the pseudonym Rudolpho M. Venezuela. "The whole veil of secrecy started because of my insecurity," he adds. "But now it's there because we're worried if people her all the gags and jokes they won't be as funny when the movie comes out."

Here's what we can tell you: The whole cast of horndogs from the 1999 original has reassembled at chateau Stifler on Lake Michigan, where we last saw the troupe losing their collective virginity. (While Universal had originally suggested sending the kids to Europe or settling them in New York City, Herz and director Rogers- who was first assistant director on the original Pie- insisted on returning to familiar ground.) It's the summer after their freshman year at college, and Oz (Klein) finds himself without girlfriend Heather (Suvari), who is studying in Paris. Says Klein, who'll also be starring in August's Rollerball: "We're dealing with temptation, serious relationships at 19, and how mature we are."

But no need to panic. The characters aren't that mature. Biggs, who has probably done more for apples than anyone since Eve, promises plenty of "shock value moments," and Scott vows that Stifler is "10 times crazier than the last time." Admits Thomas, who reprises his role as the snooty Finch, "Sequels as a rule don't work- that's the truth of the matter. But Adam Herz knows how to make a movie funny." Even if he doesn't know how to make making a movie funny.

#2: There's an interview with the producer Chris Moore up at www.allacrossamerica.com. It's mostly about lacrosse, so unless you like sports or Cris Moore this would be a waste of time.

#1: A teaser picture from from AP2 - Jason Biggs watches a hot chick undress from the to-be-famous lesbian scene. Very cool. (If you're not familiar with the scene check out the news from February 28th below.) And yeah, I ripped this off from Entartainment Weekly's summer movie preview. Err.. Actually someone else did it for me.. Well, enjoy..

#2: Some soundtrack info was posted on MTV.com a while ago. Mississippi rockers "3 Doors Down" have been chosen to be among the bands on the AP2 soundtrack. "The Better Life" that will be released as the first single from the movie's soundtrack is gonna long with others, try to capture the movie's teen milieu. Here's a bit:

The makers of the upcoming "American Pie 2" have ordered a slice of 3 Doors Down's debut album — with something extra on top. The Mississippi rockers are writing new lyrics for "Be Like That," a track from their multiplatinum debut, The Better Life that will be released as the first single from the movie's soundtrack, the band's management said. 3 Doors Down also plan to shoot a video for the heartland-rock ballad that will feature the "American Pie 2" cast, according to the film's music supervisor, Gary Jones. "We spoke to the guys in the band and they're totally on board, and that's one of the main reasons we chose to do it," Jones said. "It's a perfect band for 'American Pie 2'." Like 1999's original "American Pie," which included songs by Tonic, Sugar Ray and Blink-182, the sequel will be packed full of potential rock hits, according to Jones, who's put together soundtracks for the likes of "Nutty Professor II: The Klumps," "The Next Best Thing" and "The Family Man."

Haha! Turns out that Sean W. Scott and Chris Klein aren't as strong as they look on the screen afterall. Have they gained big muscles throughout the years? Yes. Was it in vain? Yes. Check out what I recieved yesterday:

"After wrapping up each scene in "American Pie 2", male co-stars Jason Biggs, Thomas Ian Nicholas, Chris Klein , Eddie Kaye Thomas and Seann William Scott challenge the director and crew members to a push-up contest. The winner so far? A buff female production assistant!"

(The rumour about Don Johnson playing Stifler's dad was wrong, I've corrected it now.)

My insider stops by to point out some mistakes in recent scoops and he also reveals who will be playing Stifler's dad. Here you go:

Anyway I visited the pie sites, they've got a few things wrong. The bus breaks down that's carrying "Petey" the special trombone player and Jim gets mistaken for him and he's brought up on stage to perform, and wowing the audience. That's how it ties into the Band Camp scene.

Another scene (and this sounds like a big set piece) has Biggs accidentally crazy-glueing a porn magazine to one hand and his.. john thomas to the other. This is not completly true. It's a VCR tape he glues to his hand, not a magazine.

Rumor on the set also has it that they finally signed someone to play Stiffler's dad...(not Don Johnson) it's Chris Penn(Reservoir Dogs, True Romance, Rush Hour). No one's real excited about that, but its a small part anyway.

There's nothing elese to say except that you should check out the new feature. It's kinda cool. But 'nuff said bout that. Here's the scoop:

Dima,

I was a little miss lead by the casting company. I was actually cast as a parent from "Band Camp". The whole day filming was for a 1 minute scene at band camp. One gag. Jim gets into band camp one way or another and the scene takes place at an afternoon performance. I'm not sure how it fits in the movie. Something must lead up to it and something must follow. Michelle is back at band camp with her "famous" flute.

George Wyner plays the camp director. I kept thinking about the line in Spaceballs "What's a matter Colonel Sandurz? Chicken..."

It was a long day. Saturday's call time was 4:00 PM and expected to shoot until 5:00 AM Sunday and I wasn't able to make it because I had other commitments. This was going to be more of the same but an evening performance and more formal. Sorry, I don't have more, but we didn't get beyond that one scene.

I know there hasn't been many updates lately, but the main reason for that is simply lack of news. Anyways, here is some interesting stuff:

#1 - The first American Pie 2 item has appeared at EBAY. It's an offficial red T-shirt with an AP2 logo on the front, which appears to be almost the same as the AP logo, and "We're mounting a whole new pie" on the back. Click here to go and bid. Currently it's at $5,20.

#2 - Chris Klein's love interest in AP2 will be Tsianina Joelson an anonymous scooper told piemovie2.com.

#3 - The very same piemovie2.com reports that Bill Paxton woill not star in AP2 as Stifler's dad. Top choice right now for Mr. Stiffler is John C. McGinley.

And now about the future of the site. I'll move into a domain as soon as the design I have in mind is in place. The site will be updated more often and I'll have more of the boring facts substitued with fun stuff. Until then, take care and stay updated through my site.

Some information about how the burger stand ties into the guys' painting job. It's kinda a spoiler, but nothing big:

"The guys are back from college and throw their first party at Stifler's. This is the one we filmed last week. The cops bust it and they're told no more parties there. So Kevin, Jim, Oz, Finch and Stifler rent a lake house. To be able to afford it they get a job painting a house that has 2 hot girls living in it. The guys catch the girls undressing and give play by play comments over their radios. This broadcast inadvertently gets picked up by the burger stand and other people."

February 22nd
Today I got a mail with some pretty cool information that proves my painting theory from yesterday very wrong. Enjoy you rebels:

"The burger joint scene from Sunday had nothing to do the main actors from the first movie. It dealt with two lesbians having sex over the p.a. system and the whole burger joint standing still listening to a commentator describing the events. It did have two unknown ators with lines but, they reveal nothing special."

February 21st
"Very cool to see you have the neighborhood people posting updates to your site! They are all accurate too. As you can see anyone on or near the set knows what movie we're doing. UCLA was used to simulate several colleges as the characters didn't all go to the same one after high school. In addition to Millikan H.S. we shot at a burger stand down the street from there on Sunday. The burger stand ties into a scene where the boys are making money to pay for the lake house rental. The boys aren't the ones working at the burger stand though." (My guess is that they're painting it, beacuse I heard somewhere else that they're painting something to make money) "Guess what I heard. Alyson Hannigan is going to take, or is taking, flute lessons! What do suppose that means?" (It means that Hollywood is fake afterall (lol) - she was a flute player in the first one, right?)

February 19th
(This is an extension of yesterday's update) The production of American Pie 2 is now all over LA! I've got three scoopers telling me about it:

#1: "I'm a UCLA (university of california) student and I was on campus today and I stumbled upon the filming of American Pie 2 in front of Kerckhoff Hall at 3pm. On set was Mena Suvari, Chris Klein, and Thomas Ian Nicholas. There were two scenes that I saw them shooting. The first one was outside one of the older buildings on campus...they were trying to get trays to make it look like a cafeteria but none were available. Mena Suvari and Chris Klein were shooting the scene (and Thomas Ian Nicholas was also out there). The other scene was inside a classroom and I couldn't get in to see what they were filming (or with who). I would speculate that they were shooting a few shots of the cast in college before the summer vacation started. Today (Sunday) they are off to Long Beach to shoot according to several of the crew."

#2:"I just want to confirm that the fake movie title is "Secret Disguise", I know because I live on the street where they are filming part of it and we signed a paper that said this."

#3:"Just happened to drive Millikan High School in Long Beach, Ca this weekend, the same one used in the original, and there were police and Universal film trucks all around. I asked someone what they were filming and was told the sequel to American Pie. Then I looked over at the main entrance to the school and noticed they had already changed the high school name to Great Falls High School. "

February 15th
With filming underway (started at February 14th), the folks over at Chicago Sun Times have been able to squeeze out some information regarding the plot when they had a chat with Paul & Chris Weitz and Eugene Levy (aka Jim's dad). Here's what was revealed:

Even though no pastries will be harmed in the making, he states: "Other household items are used in a strange way," he says. "There's also some sex in the beginning. The kids are at college now. But most of the movie is about their summer vacation. It's about how you can't keep the status quo once you go away and relive the glories of childhood." They also revealed that body fluids, and there are not too many to choose from (take a guess), will be involved.

February 9th
Jason Biggs recently had a chat with the biggest selling UK filmmag's website - Empire Online. Here's what he said:

'Everyone is coming back as far as I know,' Biggs told Empire Online. 'And it’s going to be fun. I’m excited for it. Adam Herz (Pie’s writer) came back and wrote the script - which is a tough job - by the way. I’m not a writer, but I can brainstorm forever and ever and not even come up with the slightest idea of what to put in that script. But he did a great job of writing a script that holds up the integrity of the first one nicely, and has some really funny moments.”

Biggs explains that although he’s excited about tackling the project, he had some reservations. “Part of me wishes I could just sort of keep it on its pedestal, which is where I placed it, you know, the moment I finished filming it.” Biggs muses: “You know, it did such a wonderful thing for me and everyone involved in the film, and it was just so special that I sort of wish that I could keep it there. But, I'm going to work with an amazing cast again, and we're going to have an amazing time. You know, we might all have bigger trailers now, but whatever. And it'll be fun--it'll be a lot of fun.”

Naturally, the sequel prompts the question: will there be a scene rivaling the original film’s notorious pie-shagging clip? “There's something comparable,” laughs Biggs, “but…you won't see a pie in this movie…There's some set pieces, absolutely. There's some big moments. I don't know if I'll ever top the pie, but perhaps I'll come close. No pun intended.”

February 6th
Scoop #1: The title I posted a week ago turned out to be a false false-title. So here you go, exclusive news for this site: Universal will begin to film "American Pie 2" under the false title of "Catching the Light" by Ethan Slipko. "They'll have people answering phones under that title, false promo posters drawn up, etc." a source revealed to me. "It's all about keeping the movie under wraps, primarily from mouthy extras."

Scoop #2: Walking around on the set of AP2 in these days is like taking a walk in 1880's London at night (the time when Jack the Ripper was around). Don't believe me? Taka a closer look then. This is what an insider revealed to me: "Hi Dima, I got a look at the script the other day, one of the older versions. It had a funny note on top. Important note: This draft is for purposes of production only and is incomplete creatively. If this gets onto the internet or anywhere that it shouldn't be, I will kill you. Seriously. You will die. Criticisms of dialogue will be met with unrestrained wrath."

February 5th
Eugene Levy, aka Jim's dad in "American Pie", will appear in the sequel, says The Hollywood Reporter. A Universal spokesman said deals are in place for the rest of the cast on the follow-up, with the exception of Natasha Lyonne, whose deal is expected to close shortly.
