Before continuing on down this page: SOME RARITIES I RECENTLY STUMBLED ACROSS
I stumbled across these pink boxes on someone's online auction. The person informed me that these were temporary cardboard boxes used when Castle Films became Universal 8, and they were discontinuing their 50ft. editions. These are the only cardboard boxes I've ever seen from Universal 8. If you have scans or other pictures of any more of these "pink and white" boxes as they're referred to, or if you have any in your collection, I'd be very grateful if you can supply me with scans to use here on this page.

You'll also notice some new additions and variations in descriptions. This is based on the fact that I recently discovered several variations and styles in the Universal 8 boxes for many of these particular titles. Those titles for which I realized and/or found the variations now include "cardboard" in the Castle Films description (all the Castle Films releases were cardboard boxes, but I've only changed the descriptions for those titles for which there are variant Universal 8 boxes on this page).
