Welcome to Fading Lights! I have finally decided to get off my lazy butt and make a site devoted to the mass quantity of Power Rangers stories I've been writing recently. Here you will find the Epic Life-Eating Bastard Fic, i.e. Fade to Darkness, and all it's offspring, as well as anything else I come up with. There will be information on my Rangers (eventually) as well as pictures to help with visualization. Please feel free to send me feedback; it's what made a train of thought turn into, well...this. There are various disclaimers posted around this site, but here's an official-looking can't be missed one: I do not own the Power Rangers. I would love to, believe me, but I don't. They belong to many corporations and have changed hands so many times I can't remember who owns them now, just that I watch them on ABCKids when they're not replaced with sports.
The many philosophies and concepts I mention have been developed through years of watching the show and reading the work of fanfic authors such as Ellen Brand, Jeremy Ray Logsdon, Ibonekoen, Dingo, Starhawk, Dagmar Buse, and cmar, to name a few. There are far more than I could possibly post here, as every story I've read and every person who's reviewed my stories plays a part. All mentioned non-cannon Rangers are my creations unless otherwise specified, though I'm more than willing to share.
The background images on this site were made by me. Please don't take this one; it took me awhile to make it just the way I wanted. The base for the pictures used in my character bios are taken from different websites, such as http://www.actressarchives.com, http://www.actorarchives.com, and many others. The images as you see them I altered myself, so once again please, don't take them. I worked hard to get them just right. Thanks for your cooperation.
