Lovin my new backyard!!

My name is Jaime. I am 29 years old and have been married for almost 8 years, together 12 years with my Soul mate, Robb!!

We currently Reside In Seven Devils North Carolina in the blue ridge mountains. We have moved around quite a bit, but plan on spending our lives here in The High Country. It is absolutely GORGEOUS down here!!!!

HOW DID ALL THIS INTEREST IN SEWING START, YOU ASK??

I would have to give credit to, My husband, My mom, and The Good Ol Grateful Dead...

One of this first things, if not the first thing, my husband bought me was a ticket to see the Grateful Dead 94 at Buckeye Lake,, I had no idea that it would change my life the way it did, and inspire me to learn how so sew...

OF COURSE after going to the show I wanted a patchwork dress more than anything.. I asked for one for christmas, thinking for sure I would get what one( I mean, I told my mom what store it was at, gave her directions and everything) To my surprise, I did not get the dress,, BUT SOMETHING EVEN BETTER. My mom bought me my first pattern and a bunch of fabric and said " Jay, you can make one"

I still have the first dress I made( or should i say the dress my mom made LOL) and the rest is History!!  THANKS MOM!! Oh yes,, and we must not forget dad  aka "big daddy warbucks" lol.. for helping me out financially to get my newest serger!! THANKS DAD!!!

I have been sewing for 10-11 years now and have a full time business!!

I continue to learn from my mistakes and progress in this art year after year!!!

I would like to thank my husband, for believing in me  and my sewing from day one, my family for their encouragement and support and ALL OF YOU for your business, kind words and inspiration!!!!

I hope to bring you one of a kind wearable art for years to come!!!!
