Our perception of others are patterns of social categories. Giving impression of being a particular type and manipulation of the reader's initial interpretation.

2. Age Deception

Status enhancement is one of the main reasons of deception. Many of these cases are obvious, however we do not know how often or to wat extent this occurs.

Users also use various techniques to change their identities online.

Gender deception is often the case when user pose as the opposite sex instead of real one.
