Journey Through My Mind

I have this special yearning

Which is more than I can bear,

To know my soulmate out there,

But his life I may not share.

We've loved before; inside my mind;

sharing many points of view,

We've walked along on grassy plains

And seen the morning dew.

I feel he knows me through and through

there's nothing left to hide.

For while I bared my soul to him

wiping tears, My face he dried.

His warm embrace, it beckons me

His eyes alive with fire,

I sense us getting closer

I can feel my own desire.

I just know that he is out there

This man inside my mind,

I'll be patient-recognizing him

My soul mate's been defined.
