Welcome all! I'm Lynn and you've landed on Moon Spinner, home of the Little Big Goat. Once overlooked by the caprine community as a mere "lawn ornament," the lovable and engaging nigerian dwarf is coming on like gangbusters. And why not! These versatile mini-dynamos can put milk on the dinner table, pull a small cart, strut in the show ring and even serve as therapy animals. With their wild kaleidoscope of color - from solids to splashes, belted, pied or moonspotted - they're pretty to look at too.
Eight years ago, when I purchased two Gay-Mor bred doelings for my small homestead in western NY, I never imagined it would launch a passion that has become the number one focus and joy of my life. That pair mushroomed into my present herd of 18 and over the years I have been privileged to share my love affair with other nigie keepers and get a few unsuspecting newbies similarly addicted!
For me, one of the thrills of nigie keeping is the ultimate quest for the perfect ND, that rare, beautifully blended individual who approaches the breed standard. But even if I never bred or sold a goat or took home a blue ribbon it wouldn't matter. These pocket-sized companions with their irresistible faces and big-hearted personalities brighten up even my darkest days And for that, they're worth their weight in gold.
Thanks for stopping by and make yourself at home. If there's anything I can help you with or you just want to talk goats feel free to give me a holler.
STOP THE MADNESS- NO NAIS!!
