HERE ARE THE LOVELY MILKMAIDS OF MOON SPINNER. ALWAYS A WORK IN PROGRESS, MY GOAL IS TO PRODUCE A LONG-BODIED, LONG NECKED, WEDGE-SHAPED ELEGANT DOE WHO CAN LOAD UP THE PAIL WITH EASE. PUTTING ALL THE PARTS TOGETHER, HOWEVER, IS ANOTHER MATTER. BUT THEN, THAT'S THE FUN OF DAIRY GOATING AND I AM ENJOYING THIS EVER FASCINATING AND REWARDING JOURNEY.

This impeccably bred chocolate roan doe has a bloodline that boasts top awards in both the show ring and udder production. Stella herself earned her milk star her first time out to go along with a Jr. Grand Championship leg. Her kids are always topnotch no matter who the sire.
Hanna is one of my foundation does. Another stellar bloodline from one of my favorite nigie farms, Hanna's two full sisters have excelled in the ring. Her mom Mae has an udder to die for and her paternal granddam Prissy has garnered two Best in Udder awards.
It took this spotted beauty a full two years to mature but boy was it worth the wait! Xia has blossomed into one of my favorites, showing good body length, width and a nice slender long neck. I'd like to see a shade more level topline. Her ff udder showed promise considering she kidded with a single doe.
The elegant Lady Syrah represents the conformational look I'm after. Just look at those blockbuster family genes! She's got the best dairy character of my girls: long-bodied, refined and feminine with just the right blend of substance. This girl is simply a milking machine that doesn't quit!
This raven queen is long bodied, powerful, with a gorgeous coat and dairy skin, and a milk forever udder. Theia was the '07 National breed leader for butterfat and protein!
Just have a gander at the legends in this pedigree! China is a long-legged, quiet beauty with a wonderfully shaped, soft-textured mammary system. I hope her kids in '10 are as nice as first litter.
