Kathy's Page

Hello! My name is Kathryn Elizabeth. I was named for my Grandmother & Great-grandmother. I was born two days after my Grandmother's birthday & I have red hair like she did at one time.
I'm a homeschooled Senior this yr. & plan to graduate in June of 2007 if not before. I work as a server at one job & a greeter at another. and as most teen-agers, I spend my money as fast as I can make it.
I have a good head on my shoulders & plan on going far in this world someday. Right now I'm just trying to figure out what this big ole' world has to offer me.

Perfection Broke
Her hair aflame
Blazed so softly down her back
Emeralds so piercing
Right through your veil
Her step precise
Beauty defined
Desired
Her gaze, her touch
Her words, her work
Strong and complete
Invincible
Impossible to break, by your touch
Descending this stairwell of perfection
She falls into her own image
Breath caught, she is choked
Gut-wrenching it is
To see perfection cry
Horrifying to watch
A golden-sewn veil
Unravel before your eyes
Unable to catch her fall
As she lies broken
Fallen head first alone
Without defense she cries
She opens her eyes
Scared at what she could possibly find
She looks for her many admirers
Only to realize she has no desire
A familiar face she searches for
They’re all gone
Lost in her fall, she forgot to open her eyes
And say goodbye
Her hand is grasped
Green eyes to match her own
He wills her to stand
She tries, yet somehow she can’t
She begs for him to help her
To lift her, to try harder
He stays for moments
Waiting for her to rise
His eyes boring into her own
Finally he releases his grasp
And she lies there
Perfection broke
