Athames & Bolines Athames and bolines are a very important part of rituals. The athame serves as an energy director. It can either draw energy into your body or "shoot" energy from it during a spell. Traditionally the athame is a black handled knife. But today there are alot of different athames to choose from. You should never use your athame to cut anything, that job is reserved for your boline. Bolines are used for cutting. Use your boline prior to ritual to prepare your herbs. A boline is traditionally a white handled knife. But, like the athame, there are a variety of choices. The boline is also a rare find. I will try to keep a few different styles in stock.
