The Federation is in trouble and it needs your help. Our Navy is weak. It has been in decline since the end of the war and it does not look like it's going to make a significant recovery anytime soon. Our Politicians have slowly disbanded much of our forces, canceled vital military research projects, and handed over the policing our space to CONCORD.
The age of standing navy is over. With the sheer numbers of Capsuleers in space today and the rate that new ones are being trained our collective firepower now rivals that of most major militaries. In furture space conflicts it is we who will stand on the front lines and determine the outcome.
Realizing this, we have decided to support the capsuleer community in 2 important ways:
First, in manufacturing and selling arms to Gallente Citizens, as only well armed individuals can defend themselves and their nation.
Second, By acting on an (all too infrequently used) article of the Federation charter allowing for the formation of militias for the common defense and policing of Federation space.
To carry our both of these tasks we have created the Eidolon Militia, a group of combat pilots, scientists and engineers dedicated to arming and organizing Gallente citizens into a civilian defensive force capable of patrolling the vast federation territory for criminal activity, as well as halt the advance of any foreign aggressor.
We hope you'll join us in our endeavor to maintain our great haven of freedom and democracy, or at least suppor what we stand for - "Peace through superior firepower".
The Eidolon Militia is a Gallente role playing corporation. Being that the Gallente Federation is, to a large degree, made up of immigrants we allow players of all races to join. As long as you are loyal federation citizen you are welcome. We also welcome players of every profession. We are not strictly a combat oriented corp. Part of our mission is to arm our fellow citizens. To do that we need, miners, builders, researchers and traders.
The Militia maintains divisions devoted to combat ops, intelligence,
production and research, and trade. A Commander heads up each division
and together form the leadership of the Militia. The current Commanders
