Course Expectations
Behavior and Citizenship
1. School is a place of learning but it is also your place of business, so let’s act professionally. Let’s avoid the following in my class room: cursing, poking fun at others, dressing improperly, having inappropriate conversation. These actions usually end poorly and we would all like to avoid visiting the dean or having a phone call home.
2. The three things that will not be tolerated under any circumstances is cheating, fighting (that includes verbal or physical) and lying! These are several way in which not only can find you in hot water, but will aggravate me very much!
3. Please do not cut my class. I always find out! I will hunt you down, you will be marked absent, you will see your dean, and you will lose all privileges to the use of a pass or to use the latrine during class because I can’t trust you!
4. Please do not be late to my class without a pass. Also do not abuse the privilege of a pass! If you are late you will have detention and could be marked absent! Be on time!
5. Remember we have a strict code of attendance, 24 absences from class will result in you loosing credit for the year! Also note that if you are late 15 minutes from class with out a pass, you are considered absent from class. So be on time.
6. Be prepared. Always come to class with your note book, assignments, pen, paper, calculator, and reference table and text book. Failure to come prepared to class entirely will result in one point removed from your quarterly average.
