In Dreams

I'm in an apartment with Hyde and Gackt, talking to them about something (to this day I know not what ^^), when there is a knock on the door. We all glance at each other in surprise and I get up to answer it (which is weird because this was a Gackt-owned apartment - I don't know how I know this, I just do) and on the other side of the door is an ex-friend of mine called Stephen.

Needless to say, I'm surprised to see someone whom I don't really talk to that much anymore, especially because I'm in Japan, with Gaku and Haido... ^^

"Steve? What are you doing here?"
"I just wanted to come say 'hi'," he says in reply.
"Oh... okay... come in."

So he comes inside and I introduce him to the fellows ^^, and Hyde says to me, "So you can spend some time with your friend, we will leave you alone for a while..."
And I'm thinking, yeah and what are you gonna get up to? But I just nod and say, "Okay, thanks guys." ^^

So the two of them disappear and I start talking to Steve, who suddenly says, "You know you're wrong. That's the real reason I came."
"Ehh... what?!" I ask in surprise. "What are you talking about?"
"I'm a priest now," he says gently. "I've come to Japan with some members of my church to right the wrongs that the Japanese people commit."
"They commit wrongs?"
"They're not Christian," he reminds me. "They follow other Gods. They break one, if not many, of the commandments. They must be set right."

At this point I just stare. I mean, I'm Christian myself but this guy's a complete cult-fuck!! "Stephen, just because they follow another God doesn't mean they'll get sent to Hell. God's not that fickle, I'm sure of it. If they're good people..."
"If they don't follow God, our God, they're wrong," he snaps. "And you're wrong too, for thinking that it's okay for them to..."
"Steve, you're a fucking idiot."

Before I could do anything, he hit me really hard in the head. I saw stars, I swear. Then I looked back up at him and said, "Get the fuck out, I mean it... Before I kill you right here."
He just stared at me for a second and then stalked out of the apartment, slamming the door behind him.

Gackt and Hyde must've heard the commotion because all of a sudden they're there with me again, looking at me in horror - there's already a darkening bruise on my cheek (a little early, I know... ^^). Something I noticed is that they're wearing each other's shirts... but I won't go into that... ^^

"Burukku-chan, daijoubu??" Gackt asks, touching the bruise.

There's another knock on the door and I answer it - it's Steve again. "Didn't I tell you to get lost?"
"If you were to kill me, you'd go to Hell," he says before hitting me again.
This time Gackt and Hyde pounce him and start beating the living shit out of him. ^^ He starts to fight back but then he stops, staring at Hyde, looking horrified.

He runs off. (Wha~~~? <- that's sorta how my subconcious was reacting. Like, 'Why did you run off??')

The men turn back to me but before they can say anything there's another knock on the door. This time Gaku answers it. I want to because I'm hoping it'll be Steve and I can lay some fist to his head, but Hyde's holding both of my arms, saying, "No way."

Anyway, it turns out that it's a different bloke from my school, Barnesy (who is also miraculously in Japan), and when he sees the bruises on my face, he's absolutely mortified. Moreso when I tell him who did it - Steve and Barnesy used to be best friends. He's thinking about going out, finding Steve and killing him, but Hyde and Gackt are placating him, explaning that something scared him off and he won't be back.

The door is bashed down.

All four of us turn in surprise as 'Priest' Stephen and about 100 followers storm the apartment. Steve points at me: "Witch" he hollers...

"What? Me? A witch?"

He points at Hyde's pentacle ring - the thing that he was so scared of. "Your friend wears the sign of the devil. You are all to be burned at the stake!!"

Well, we tried to fight but there were too many. They overpowered us and dragged us to an abandoned field where they tied us all to stakes.

I woke up hearing Hyde's screams of agony as the first flames started to rip into his skin. It was really, really scary. I came to school and broke down to Barnesy, I was so freaked out... it was weird.
