Conan Christopher O'Brien grew up in Boston, the middle child of Seven. Daaang. Anyway, he obviously got out of highschool with a good ACT or SAT score, and a good GPA, because he went to none other, than Harvard University. Daaang. Anyway, he would later return to do a commencement speech at Harvard. He began to write comedy, and started going through jobs like mad, even working at a clothes store, but eventually, he got on the writing staff of none other than prestigeous Saturday Night Live. Then, in '91, he went to write for the Matthew Groening cartoon on Fox, that has a donut obsessed buffoon, and a hindu convienience store owner. This show, ofcourse, The Simpsons. Now, meanwhile, on NBC, there's this show, Late Night with David Letterman. Letterman ofcourse, as you know, did not get the Tonight Show job. This made him already mad at NBC. Then, during this year after Leno's hire, he quit. Why did he quit, and move to CBS? One reason is that NBC wanted to get rid of Dave's good friend and Late Night bandleader at the time, Paul Schaffer. Dave would not stand for the firing of Paul, so he moved to a 10:30 timeslot on NBC. I'm in Central Time Zone, so don't correct me, easterners. I'm a hipper cat than you. Anyway, after Letterman's hop over to CBS, there was obviously an opening for this 12:10 Timeslot. What would NBC ever do? They apparently hired Conan. And with Conan, came Andy Richter, his Couch Sidekick. And also, Max Weinberg, and the Max Weinberg Seven Band. And, Joel Goddard, announcer for the show. Conan was on really thin ice his first three years. Apparently, he got better, Ratings rising, People laughing, Guests coming, Telivisions not being turned off. Even with a terrible timeslot, he is now revered in the world known as Telivision. Richter left in the year 2000. But, Conan is still coo. Coonan. lol. I made a new word Conan.
