COUNCIL GUIDELINES

This is just a brief discription of Council Members responsibilities

ALPHAS
The Alphas are the leaders of The Den and the decision makers, although they do listen to and value the opinions of their members.
The Alphas are the ones that decide who should be on The Council,
and will chose members that show interest and commitment.
Alphas place the pups with parents, the parents have to be members of the council
The Alphas Chair the weekly Den Meetings, and are likely to call emergency ones if the need arrives.
The Alphas here are very approachable, and want to get to know all members,
but please remember, that there is a Chain Of Command to follow with problems, which should be followed if possible.
The Alphas have built The Den, and will keep the pages updated as necessary.

BETAS
Betas are second in charge. They should be observant, aware of what is happening at the Den,
they should keep an eye on issues that could cause disruption to the serenity of the Den.
They should ensure that the Gammas are doing their job well.
The Betas report any problems, or indeed anything of interest to the Alphas.
WE like to hear the GOOD stuff TOOOOOO.....

GAMMAS
Third in charge...these very important Council members have to make sure that they meet with,
and get to know the Pups, our very important new members.
They oversea the Deltas and are the ones that the PupMasters will go to when they feel a pup is ready for adulthood.
At that time, they will let the Betas and Alphas know so that a meeting can be arranged.

PUPMASTERS
These Council members are to spend time both formally and informally to teach the pups the ways of the Den,
and alittle about wolves in general.
When the pup is ready for testing,
the PupMaster will ask their questions and will, if satisfied, notify the Gammas that the pup is ready for adulthood (The pup will have also filled in the test/questionaire, set out by the Alphas.)

DELTAS
Our Deltas are our Hunters, their main responsibility is to get us new members,
and to introduce the pups to the rest of the family,
also to make sure that the pup has met with the PupMaster,
they are to tell the pup to sign the guest book, and to put W.O.L.F.-pup and date into their identity.

DEN ADVISORS- These respected wolves are wolves with lots of experience that may be called upon to advise the Council. They are not necessarilly members of Wolves Of Loyal Faith.

Advisors are not considered Council members but ARE very important to Our Den.

WE ARE ALL RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CARE OF THE PUPS
PLEASE MAKE THEM FEEL WELCOME HERE,
AFTER ALL, PUPS ARE VERY WELL CARED FOR IN THE WILD.

IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED IN COUNCIL PLEASE LET US KNOW AS SOON AS POSSIBLE,
IF SO, YOU WILL BE INTERVIEWED AND ASKED QUESTIONS TO SEE IF YOU QUALIFY.
THERE WILL BE TRAININGS ARRANGED FOR THOSE THAT WANT.
