LEAVES: Opposite,deciduous; compound, palmately divided into 5-9 (usually 7) stalkless leaflets at the tip of a long stalk; widest above midleaf, 10-25cm long; leaf scars large, horseshoe-shaped
HABITAT: Disturbed sites along fences and in woodlands
DISTRIBUTION: Introduced from southeastern Europe; occasional escape in southern Ontario
