Consequences for Breaking Rules
Consequences for Rule Breakers

I would just like to take alittle time out to help members understand what actions we take to reduce rule-breaking offenders. We have spam consequences on a seperate page but for this page I will describe other results of rule breakers. On this page, I will use the Rules Page to corrospond with the consequences.

Breaking of Rule number 1:
See Spam Consequences

Breaking of Rule number 2:
Those who break rule number two will find themselves in quite a predicament. Basically, this is how we handle insults. If guild fights and threats (non-playful) are started on the board, we are immediatly on to them but we need notice of these things. If you see it before we take care of it, PLEASE tell Dark, Sha or someone on council because if you don't the problem could get worse! Blatent insulters (ones that insult with no evidence or reasons on their side) will the be ones punished. We, as a guild, do not tolerate people who belittle others (not including spammers. Belittle them all you want.)! The punishments are as follows if and when caught:

  • Depending on the insult, the punishment can vary from a warning to suspension for a full 48 hours.
  • Repeat offenders face definate suspension of 1 week.
  • Continuous assaults after suspension will result in being banned from the guild.

So as you can see, I am not kidding when I say we do not tolerate insulting.

    Breaking of Rule 3:
This is the rule that when people break it, others get angry. We HATE scum who come into our guild, post messages advertising their guild and then they leave. I can not tell you HOW much it annoys people. It's a disgusting form of advertising that low-lifes use because they have no confidence in themselves OR their guild! Because we hate people who advertise like this, here are the consequences for these actions:

  • If you advertise a different guild and STAY in our guild, you will be banned. No questions asked.
  • If you advertise a different guild and then leave, expect many neomails bashing you about your advertising for your guild in our guild.

    Breaking of Rule 4:
Ohh! This one is a MAJOR No-No!! Definatly! We even have an FAQ on it. Stealing from us is completely and utterly horrible. Why don't you actually do some of the work for a change? Plagerism is BAD! Bad Bad Bad! We do the following if you steal from us:

  • If you have already left/never joined the guild and then steal banners from us and alter the code to link a different guild, the codes might just change and you will be stuck with the following message:

^ This is our best way of getting the point across to you. We also, in addition to this consequence...
  • Many of our members, along with ALL 10 council members will contact you in an enraged state. We HATE people who steal from us so be prepared for that if you steal!

    Breaking of Rule 5
Look, if you can't do your job kindly give up what you're assigned to do. This guild needs active committed people and if you can't help out then get rid of your power and someone else will gladly take it. Please, if you don't plan on fulfilling your role, then don't sign up. I don't want to discourage anyone, but if you can't spare the time to help out when asked, then it's better for the guild to find someone who can.

  • Those who can not fulfill their role on Website Staff, nor do they have any interest in working on it will be promptly removed when notified.
  • If you refuse to do or will NOT do your job on Newsletter, please tell Shannon instead of just not doing anything! Anyone who does not turn in their monthly Newsletter Articles will be promptly removed after 3 mistakes.
