The room was lit by twinkling Christmas lights. The sound of a roaring fire and Christmas music was in the background. There are packages and wrapping paper strung all round. Piper is sitting on the floor in the middle of it. She’s just got the ribbon around the present she is wrapping and she had lost the tape for the fifteenth billion time. “Uh, sometimes I wish I had Paige’s power” Piper mumbled.

Leo has just came down the stairs form putting Wyatt to bed. When he enteres the room Piper has her finger on the ribbon so it wouldn’t move and is looking all around her.

“Honey what are you looking for” asked Leo entering the room. He’s amused by her apparent frustration in wrapping the presents.

“The damn tape, I keep losing it” replied Piper irritated.

Leo walks over and moves some wrapping paper and finds the tape “Is this what your looking for?”

“Yes can you pull a piece off and stick it right here.

Leo pulls of a piece of tape and places it on the ribbon to hold it in place. “Where’s everyone at” asked Leo?

“Phoebe is at the paper and Paige and Sean is doing some last minute Christmas shopping” said Piper.

“So we’re alone” said Leo leaning in and kissing Piper’s neck.

“Leo what are you doing” giggled Piper?

“Getting an early peek at my Christmas present” Leo grins mischievously at Piper. Leo leans down and catches her lips in a passionate kiss.

Evening has set in and the only lights were that of the street and Christmas lights. The small storefronts were dressed in garland and holly. There’s a charity Santa ringing a bell trying to get donations from the last minute shoppers.

The door opens from one of the stores. Its sign said Baby Blessings and Paige and Sean came out.

“What was wrong with that crib” demanded Paige?

“I don’t know I just didn’t like it ok” answered Sean.

“We have looked in six stores and you haven’t liked any of the cribs we looked at” Paige said angrily.

“I didn’t know we had to find one right now. I thought we were Christmas shopping, besides we have plenty of time” said Sean with his temper rising.

“We don’t have plenty of time, with my job, your job, and our charming extra curriculum activities; the baby will be here before we know it” bellowed Paige.

“We still have about six months and what amazes me is that you’re more worried about a stupid crib the making a doctors appointment with my friend, Dr. Brett Bennett.” retaliated Sean.

“First of all we don’t know how powerful our baby is and second you’ve been on some mission for Colm, and finally how do you know we can trust him” retorted Paige.

“Because he’s my friend, He knows who and what I am and have kept the secret every since I saved him at university from a demon. It was sent to kill him so he would not become the doctor he is today. He has saved babies that should have never been born. He moved to San Francisco two months ago, besides who cares how powerful the baby is. You’re still pregnant and you have to take care of yourself furthermore you know this” countered Sean.

Paige stops dead in front of an alley turn to face him, fuming with anger. She could have strangled him right there. The nerve of him accusing her of not taking care of herself is one thing but to say she would endanger their baby that’s quite another. “Why he couldn’t—” Paige could not finish that thought because they heard yelling and screaming coming from the alley.

Sean flung around to look down the alley. He hands Paige the bags of packages. “Wait here” ordered Sean. Sean takes off on a run down the alley towards the screaming. “Like hell I’m going to stay here” Paige followed.

Three men stood and two were lying on the ground in the alley. The only light is that of a security light. One of the men that were standing is holding a red bag with a gold rope that glittered so brightly it looked as though it glowed. “I got what I came for. You take care of these two” ordered the man with the bag and then he simmered out.

When Sean arrived at the end of the semi-dark alley. A man in a long black leather coat had a very small man by the throat. The small man was strangely dressed. He was in red pants and a green coat. The man in the long black leather coat hand is red beginning to glow. The glow starts to engulf the head of the small man.

Sean forms an emerald fireball and throws it at the man in the leather coat. The man in the leather coat vanishes in an emerald flame. The small man fell to the ground in a lump. Sean starts to walk towards the small man lying in an eerie stillness.

Paige arrives in the alley and sees what Sean had just did to the demon. Paige senses an overwhelming evil like she had never felt before. She knew there was another demon in the alley and she could almost see where he was at in her mind. She looks over to a dark corner of the alley and a demon in a black, leather, waist-length jacket step out of the shadows. He is unaware of Paige because he is focused on Sean. Paige went to yell and put her hand up in attempt to stop Sean or the demon and from her out-stretched hand a softball size, green orb flew towards the demon as he step from the shadows and immediately on impact the demon exploded.

Sean spins around to the sound of the explosion. “What the hell” exasperated Sean? He then notices Paige standing in a daze staring at her hand. Sean quickly closed the distance between them. “Paige, honey, are you alright?” Paige did not answer him. She is still looking at her hand in shock.

“Paige” Sean said grabbing her arms. “Why didn’t you stay where I left you?”

Paige looks up at Sean “How did I do that?”

“I would say the wee little one was protecting it’s Da” answered Sean smiling. Paige knees buckled under her and it was a good thing Sean was still holding on to her or she would have fell to the ground. Sean pulls her closer to him and then Paige remembers what Sean said when he came up to her.

“What do you get off ordering me to stay away” demanded Paige?

Sean smiles and kisses her gently on the top of her head. “I was not ordering you to stay out of the alley. I was trying to protect my wife and our baby. It’s a man thing” joked Sean.

“I don’t need you to protect—” Paige statement was broke off by a moan coming from a man in the shadows. “You go check on the moan and I’ll go check on the little guy. See I’m not trying to protect you” said Sean grinning.

Paige just glares at him “I’m not amused.”

Paige went over towards the moans as Sean proceeds back to the small man lying on the ground. Sean knells down beside him to check to see if he was still alive. Sean had his doubts when the small man open his eyes and looks up into Sean’s eyes. Eye’s of death, Sean thought when he saw them. “Are you ok” asked Sean with concern? The small man reaches up with all the strength he had left and grabs Sean’s jacket. “You must protect him or all is lost” he said closing his eyes and falling back to the ground but before Sean could check to see if he was a live; he faded away to nothing.

Paige finds an old man around six feet tall and on the heavy side. He was wearing a gray suit. He had medium length nicely trimmed bread. It was so white that it looked like snow. “Here let me help you up” said Paige. “Are you ok?”

“Yes, Paige I’m find” Paige mouth drops open to the surprise that this man knew her name. He stumbles a bit and catches his balance. He looks around the alley. “Where’s Leif at” asked the man?

“Who” replied Paige? She is now just as confused as the man standing in front of her?

“He’s my helper” answered the old man.

Sean made his way over to the old man and his wife. “He’s gone” said Sean walking up to them but when Sean came face to face with the old man, a look of surprised shock over takes his expression.

“Nick, what are you doing here and what’s this all about” asked Sean a little shaken?

“You know him” asked Paige”

“Yea, this is St. Nicholas” Paige raises one of her eyebrows in disbelief. Sean goes on to convince her “Kris Kringle, Father Christmas, Papa Noel, le Petit.”

“Are you trying to tell me—”

“That I’m Santa Claus” interrupted Nick.

Piper is putting cookies on the cooling rack when Leo walks into the kitchen. Leo walks up and kisses Piper on the neck gently. “I love it when you smell like chocolate chip cookies” said Leo taking a cookie from the cooling rack. “Ouch there hot” said Leo. Piper was laughing at him and takes his hand in hers and kisses one of his hands then the other. “Does that feel better” asked Piper smiling. Leo then starts to kiss Piper passionately. He moved to her neck when the back door opens and Phoebe comes in. Leo slowing stops kissing Piper’s neck and looks at Phoebe.

“Am I interrupting anything” asked Phoebe laughing?

“Yes, you are interrupting” sighed Leo. Piper smacks him on the arm.

“Why are you so happy” asked Piper? Phoebe walks over and hugs Leo then Piper “Merry Christmas.”

“Phoebe did you tip too much in the eggnog” asked Piper staring out her sister strangely.

“No” said Phoebe stretching her chin up to reveal more of her neck. Piper rolls her eyes and looks at Leo. They both see the new necklace around Phoebe’s neck.

“Is there something wrong with your neck” joked Piper. “You need me to heal it” added Leo smiling.

“No, there’s nothing wrong with my neck. Look what Jason gave me for Christmas? Isn’t it beautiful?” inquired Phoebe?

Piper takes the diamond necklace in her hand to get a better look at it. “It’s very nice Pheebs. So did you invite Jason for Christmas dinner?

“Yes and he said he wouldn’t miss it for the world” said Phoebe picking up one of the cooling cookies. “So are these for Santa.”

“I don’t have to worry about putting cookies and milk out for Santa until Wyatt even knows what Santa is” said Piper.

Phoebe nods and breaks off a piece of cookie and tosses it into her mouth. Phoebe goes over to the refrigerator. While Phoebe has her back to them getting a bottle of water, Leo kisses Piper again on her neck and whispers in her ear. “I smell a hint of vanilla. Did I tell you; I like it when you smell like vanilla, too?” Piper giggled and elbows Leo in the stomach.

Phoebe raises her left eyebrow; “do you two want to be alone?”

“No” said Piper the same time Leo said “yes.”

Phoebe smiles at the both of them. “Whoever knew that a chocolate chip cookie, could be an aphrodisiac” Phoebe said laughing. Piper just glared at her little sister and Phoebe decided to change the subject.

“So did you get a hold of Dad and is he coming to Christmas dinner?”

“Yea, I got a hold of him and he’s coming but he said he’d be a little late” replied Piper.

“Why” asked Phoebe but before Piper the heard the front door open and Paige yelled for them.

The front door open and Paige, Sean and Nick came inside. “Piper, Leo, Phoebe” yelled Paige.

“Paige I really should go and see what I can find out” explained Sean.

“No we’ve already discuss this” Paige said irritated

“We didn’t discuss this you just told me what I’m going to do” Sean countered.

Piper, Phoebe, and Leo entered the foyer before Paige could say anything in returned.

“What’s wrong and Who’s that” asked Piper?

“Nick” exasperated Leo.

Piper and Phoebe looks at Leo. “You know him” asked Piper and Phoebe together.

“Yea, he’s—”

“Santa Claus” interrupted Paige.

Piper and Phoebe starts laughing “no really who is he?”

“He’s St. Nick or otherwise known as Santa Claus” said Leo.

“I’m known by many names, for example, I’m known as Basbouschka in Russia” said Nick.

“Let’s go sit in the living room” suggested Paige. They all head to the living room and sits down. Paige and Nick sit down on the couch. Piper takes a chair and Leo sits down on the arm. Phoebe takes the chair right-across from the couch. Sean remains standing and paces back and forth impatiently.

“Why are you here and not—”

“Delivering toys to all the good boys and girls around the world” Nick said interrupting Leo.

“Yea” answered Leo.

“You’re telling us that you’re Santa Clause” said Piper sarcastically. “Where’s your sled and eight tiny reindeer” added Phoebe?

Nick smiled, “Where’s your broomsticks?” Sean rolled his eyes and continued to pace.

“Ok this is enough of this” spoke up Leo. “You need to tell us what happened?”

Leif and I were making an important delivery when we were attack by three demons. The leader of the group got my bag.

Leo jumped up “He got your bag. You know which demon it was” asked Leo worried.

“No I’m sorry. They got us from behind, but if we don’t get the bag back...” Nick faded off. The thought made him sick to think about what will happen if they don’t get the bag back.

“I have to go and inform the other Elders of the severity of the situation” said Leo. Leo leans down and kisses Piper and orbs out.

“I’m going to go, too. I have to go and see what I can find out” said Sean.

“You need to stay here and help” commanded Paige.

“Help do what, Paige” asked Sean. “Just sit here”

Paige just glares at him. Sean glares back and grabs her hand and pulls her off the couch. He pulls her into the dining room.

“What the hell is wrong with you, Paige” asked Sean?

Paige pulls her hand loose from his, “Nothing”

“The hell there’s not. You’ve been riding me for two days. Today it was about a damn crib and yesterday it was that I was thirty seconds late” yelled Sean.

“You were a minute late and how hard is it to pick a damn crib” Paige shouted back?

“By the saints, a whole minute late. Well, let’s just strip and quarter me then” bellowed Sean.

Piper, Phoebe, and Nick just looks at one another as Sean and Paige argues in the other room. “Should we do something” whispered Phoebe? “No” replied Piper.

“Maybe you should go then, no reason for you to stay” said Paige shaking with anger.

Sean just stares at his wife standing there shaking. Sean anger faded away as quickly as it erupted. He went to pull Paige into a hug to comfort her, but she pulls away and turns her back on him.

“I’m sorry. When I find out anything, I’ll be back” said Sean sadly. Sean closes his eyes and hung his head in shame. He waited for her to turn around and when she didn’t. He flashes out.

Paige just stood there regaining her control. When she went back into the living, Phoebe and Piper didn’t make eye contact with Paige at first. Nick smiles at Paige, when she looked at him and Paige’s anger disappeared and she calmed down.

When Piper and Phoebe finally looks at Paige. She is smiling but then it fades and the anger returns and Nick shakes his head.

“I’ll go get the book maybe you can look through it and find the demon” said Paige. She left to get the book.

“Ok what the hell did you do” demanded Piper?

“Tsk, tsk, tsk, Such language coming from a nice girl” said Nick.

“Ok what the heck did you do to defuse my sister” asked Piper again?

“I have the power to bring peace and good will with just a simple smile” answered Nick. “But it only worked for a short time with your sister.”

“Should someone go talk to her, meaning you Piper” said Phoebe

“All right, I’ll go” said Piper as she heads for the attic.

“Ok Santa; tell me about that bag” said Phoebe joyfully.

Phoebe looks at Nick and he smiles at her. Phoebe has an overwhelming feeling of peace, happiness, and good will. The feeling is like a cup of hot coco with the right amount of marshmallows. How the warmth of the sun feels on the first warm day of spring. The feeling of snowflakes as it tickles your nose, your first real kiss, the first touch of a lover’s hand, the sight of a new born baby and how it feels to hold it.

“Whoa, what was that” asked Phoebe?

“That was peace and good will” said Nick happily.

“Is that how it felt for Paige?”

“Sort of but it‘s different for every person. They have other things that bring them joy” said Nick nodding.

“But why didn’t it last” Phoebe inquired?

“She must be afraid of something” answered Nick.

“What” asked Phoebe?

“That I don’t know. You will have to ask her. So are you ready for me to explain about the bag” asked Nick?

“Yea, You know your smile could be addictive” Nick just nodded.

“The bag that I carry is the bag of generosity. It hold hopes and wishes of the children of the world and without that there would be no poetry, no romance, no beauty or joy. The only thing children and adults would believe in would be what they could only see, so all hope would be lost. You see the eternal light with which childhood fills the world would be extinguished forever. What we call evil would grow and take over the heart of the children like a black cloud” explain Nick

“This bag has that much power” asked Phoebe?

“The bag simple holds the hopes and wishes so I can fulfill their dreams. The power is in the innocent hearts of the children. If the demon knows he can use the bag to fulfill his wishes then there may be no way to stop him.” said Nick sadly.

“So I guess we better get the bag back” Phoebe frowned.

Paige was looking at the Book of Shadows when Piper walks into that attic. Paige looks up and closes her eyes. She really was not in the mood for a big sister lecture at the moment.

“Really should get this downstairs” said Paige picking up the book. Piper grabs the book from her and sits it back down on the stand. “We need to talk”

“There’s nothing to talk about” said Paige coldly.

“I think that there is” said Piper pulling her over to the couch. “If you don’t what to talk then you just listen.”

“There’s something wrong and I think I know what it is” explained Piper. Paige opens her mouth to say something but Piper put her hand to stop her.

“Your timeline is coming do”

“What timeline, I don’t have a timeline” said Paige irritated.

“You do and it’s about two months or less. You dump them, what do you say, oh yea, before they get clingy” said Piper skillfully.

“I don’t either” exasperated Paige.

“You do, You get claustrophobic and you get out of the relationship before you start to feel more for them. But Paige, honey it’s too late, you married him and having a baby with him. It’s going to be a lot harder to get rid of him. I mean you just can’t tell him it’s not working for you and expect him to just walk away.

“I don’t get claustrophobic and they get clingy and I’m not trying to— ” growled Paige.

Piper laughed softly, “Why are you really trying to push Sean away?”

“I’m...I’m not” said Paige looking away from Piper.

“Really”

“Yea besides we’ve been together over three months” answered Paige.

“Then it must really be killing you to be all closed in” smiled Piper.

“We don’t have time for this” said Paige starting to get up. Piper grabs her arm to stop her.

“I’m not done and you’re going to listen. I’ve seen Sean with you and this entire family and one thing he’s not; is clingy. He listens to you when you have questions about powers that my little niece or nephew is using, for example when you turned invisible he was right there. If you have forgotten it took Wyatt to switch Leo’s and my powers before he started to listen to me. It must be just terrible to have a husband that is there for you to listen to your concerns. Paige, stop trying to push him away and let him love you because he’s not going anywhere” Piper insisted.

“Right, isn’t that what men do in this family, is leave us” said Paige angrily.

“Most, but I have a funny feeling that Sean’s the stay around type” said Piper affectionately.

Paige just looks at her and shakes her head “we’ll see.”

“This all started when he had to go and do that mission for the ancients” Piper thought out loud.

“No it didn’t” replied Paige

“Yes it did, and then you got mad at him when he left today. Paige are you afraid that something will happen to Sean on one of these missions” asked Piper.

“No don’t be ridiculous” said Paige a little to quickly.

Piper gets up and grabs the Book of Shadows. She was satisfied in what she figured out. “Paige, I won’t whine to Phoebe about Sean because if you remember, she had the marriage from hell, literally.” Piper walk out of the attic and left Paige sitting there to contemplate what was said.

It was a dark whole in the wall bar. The jukebox, in the corner, lights blink on and off as it plays Black Sabbath music. The glasses that set on the bar lookes like they had not been cleaned in years. There is three men, in dark hooded cloaks, sat in a corner discuss something of great importance. An old hag set in the middle of the room drinking a drink that was bubbling and smoking. There’s a man standing by the jukebox looking at the list of selections and there is about five men at the bar talking with the bartender.

The front door opens and you see a shadow of a man in a long leather coat in the doorway. He enters the room and everyone looks to see who enters. The old hag nods in recognition to the person whose enters the bar. The man nods back as an unspoken hello. When the dim lights catches his face as he steps up to the bar, it was Sean. When Sean steps up to the bar, the bartender came over to him.

“Hello, Hibernicus, can I gets you the usually” asked the bartender?

“Yea” Sean said with a nod.

“Its been along time Hibernicus what have you been up to” inquired the man on the stool next to him.

Sean looked at him, “A little of this and a little of that.” The man laughs and slaps him on his back and went back to his drink. The bartender came back with Sean’s drink and set it in front of him. The man that was standing by the jukebox came over to Sean.

“You’re in my seat” said the man.

“Funny you’re name isn’t on it” replied Sean.

“Do you know who I am” exasperated the man?

“No should I” Sean said ignoring him.

“Hey Ferno I would leave Hibernicus alone” said the bartender.

“Shut up barkeep, I said get out of my seat” yelled Ferno.

“I’m having a really bad day and if I was you I would find another seat” explain Sean.

The man grabs Sean’s shoulder and Sean moved so quickly. He grabs the back of the man’s head and slams his face into the bar. When he brought him up, the man’s face was covered in blood from his broken nose.

“You should be glad I’m feeling merciful” said Sean as he puls a short sword from his coat. “I’ll kill you quickly.” And Sean thrust the sword into the man’s chest. The man burst into flames and his power formed into a ball of energy that Sean captures and puts into his coat. Everyone who was watching the incident went back to what they were doing, like it was an everyday occurs.

“Sorry about the mess, Tarvo” said Sean.

“No problem, I never liked the guy, Hibernicus” said Tarvo, the bartender.

“So what’s been going on anything big” asked Sean curiously.

“I don’t know you may like this action” said Tarvo leaning closer so no one could over hear.

“There were these guys in her about seven or eight of them and they were bragging; how their boss was going to change Christmas forever and how after he done this big thing, their boss was going to be the new Source” Tarvo explained half-heartedly.

“Did you get the name of this boss” asked Sean intently?

“Nah, They never mentioned it but I may have caught a few of the other guys name” explain Tarvo rubbing his chin.

“And”

“I’m thinking but you know its kind of hard to think when you’re short of powers” smiled Tarvo

Sean grins and pulls two energy balls out of his pocket, “would these clear your mind.”

“Oh yes much clearer now. There was one guy, kind of short and they called him Brevis and the tall guy I think I heard them call him Altus” answered Tarvo.

“Did you happen to catch any other names” questioned Sean as he pulls out another energy ball?

“Yea just one more his name was Cloacarius and I take it; he was second in command” answered Tarvo. Sean handed Tarvo the energy ball, “do you know where I can find these men?”

“I’m sorry Hibernicus; I don’t have a clue” Tarvo said as he walk down the bar to take an order.

Sean looks at himself in the mirror in heavy thought, when the man on the stool next him startles him.

“Why do you what to know where to find Altus” inquired the man on the stool. “Oh by the way they call me Clamosus” he said as he stuck out his hand. Sean takes it quickly and firmly and then let go just as fast.

“I’m always looking for a little action” said Sean. “And if they are willing to destroy or change or whatever this stupid holiday called Christmas I would like to help.” Clamosus nodded in agreement. Sean knew he may get the information he was after and he could get back to the Manor and his wife. Sean did not like how he left it with her. The man spoke again breaking Sean’s thought.

“Sorry what did you say?”

“I don’t know about the other men but Altus can be found at a place, called Draco’s” replied Clamosus.

“And what is this place” asked Sean curiously.

“It’s a diner. They have the best fried liver” answered Clamosus.

Sean thanks him throws some more energy balls on the counter and left to go find this diner from the directions Clamosus gave him.

Piper came down the stairs and entered the living room. Phoebe and Nick were deep in conversation.

“So you’re telling me, that the gifts that parents give to their children from Santa are really from you” asked Phoebe in disbelief. “Then why do the parents think they gave them to their children?”

“Because I whisper in the parent’s ears and told them what they gave their children from me. So when they get up the next morning they’re not surprised by gifts under the tree” explained Nick.

“Why don’t you want them to know that you’re real” asked Phoebe?

“Phoebe, they still wouldn’t believe I exist because children from the age of 6 to adulthood stops seeing with their heart and only see with their eyes.”

Unknown to Piper, Paige had come up behind her and was listening to Phoebe and Nick as well.

“Then why does Sean know you existed” asked Paige? This caused Piper to jump and glances back at her. Nick and Phoebe looks toward Paige and Piper. Nick smiles at them and Paige and Piper felt an overwhelming feeling of good will, then Nick winks at them to let them know everything is all right.

“Sean is a unique individual. I guess you could say he still has a heart of a child, except for, he’s a druid. They’re able to turn back the veil that hides the unseen world around us. They see what only children and innocent hearts can see. I still like to think that he has a heart of a child” explained Nick.

Piper and Paige walks the rest of the way into the room. Piper lays the Book of Shadow down in front of Nick. So he could start to look through it. Piper and Paige takes a seat. Nick starts to flip through the pages of the book.

“I have a question for you” Piper asked Nick.

“Shoot”

“How do you get into the houses, can you orb” inquired Piper?

Nick shakes his head at Piper, “no not exactly.”

“Then how do you get in” requested Phoebe joining into the conversation?

Nick flip through a few more pages and looks at them. “I only need a small opening, so a lot of times I do use chimneys” riposted Nick.

“So you really do come down chimneys” Paige said surprised? “ You can fit”

Nick laughs a jolly laugh that causes his whole body to shake. This causes Piper, Phoebe, and Paige to laugh, too. “You do shake like a bowlful of jelly when you laugh” said Phoebe. This causes Nick to laugh even louder.

When he stopped laughing he grins, “I can’t shrink or anything. I become a stream of golden light that’s how I get in.”

The room went silent as Nick thumbs through the book. He flips through the whole book and when he is done he shakes his head.

“I’m so sorry, girls. I just didn’t see them. He could be in here I just don’t know. We just have to hope Sean finds out something before its too late” Nick sighed in disappointment.

Sean flashes into a clearing of trees, “Ian, Ian, gets down here!”

A few seconds later orbs starts to appear in the clearing. “Wh...What is it?”

“I need you to tell the Ancients and the Elders that I have a few leads to follow and I’m looking into them” said Sean.

“Ok, I’ll go and inform them” Ian said as he starts to orb out.

“Wait” said Sean grabbing his arm. He knew he would have to ask for a break now or he never would.

“What?”

“Ian, I need you to—” Sean stop speaking when orbs started to appear. When the orbs materialized Leo was standing there.

“Have you found out anything” asked Leo? “Aye, I was just sending Ian back to tell the Ancients and the Elders. How did you find me” Sean question Leo?

“I followed Ian, when I heard you call for him. What did you find out” asked Leo?

“Nothing set in stone, but I have a few leads. I have to find a man at a diner to see what he knows” replied Sean.

“Sean what was you needing me to do” inquired Ian?

“After I’m done looking for the bag. You need to tell them that I need a holiday for awhile. I’m tired of playing evil and going undercover. I just want to be a husband for now. Can you do that” asked Sean?

“Yea” replied Ian. He looked at Leo and Leo nods at him. Ian nod back and orbs out.

Sean looks at Leo “I’m sorry, I need a break. It’s been twelve years. It’s getting harder and harder to get the stench of evil of my skin.”

Leo nods in understanding, “What’s changed?”

“I got married and I have a baby on the way. When it was just myself, it didn’t matter. I liked trending that close to death. It was the only think that made me feel alive”

“And now” Leo smiled.

“Now, I’ve never been so alive as when I’m with Paige. Paige needs me or I should say I need her” justified Sean.

Leo’s smile grew and he slaps Sean on the upper arm. “I’ll see what I can do. If you want a break I try to make it happen. I’ll go and tell the girls that you’re getting somewhere in finding the bag” said Leo and then he orb out.

“Thanks” whispered Sean and then he flashes out.

Leo orbs in and Piper hears him, when she makes eye contact with him. He nods towards the kitchen and he heads towards it. Piper gets up and starts to go to the kitchen. “Honey, where are you going” asked Phoebe?

“I’m craving some hot chocolate. Do you guys what any” inquired Piper as she was still leaving the room. Phoebe, Paige, and Nick acknowledge they would enjoy some, too.

Piper walks into the kitchen and Leo is in there pacing.

“What’s wrong” asked Piper?

“Have you found out anything” asked Leo walking over to his wife and kissing her? When they finally breaks the kiss, Piper could not remember what Leo even asked her. She was thinking about how much she was in love with him and how grateful for him in her life.

“Piper”

“Umm”

“What have you found out” asked Leo again?

“Oh, nothing, Nick said that they jump them from behind. He never seen them” explain Piper.

Leo held on to Piper’s hips “Piper.”

Piper could see the worry in Leo’s eyes. “What’s wrong, Leo” Piper asked reaching up and cupping his face in her hands.

“It’s Sean. I think his burnout. I’m afraid he may make a mistake that will get him hurt or worse” Leo said shaking his head.

Phoebe was standing at the door and heard the last of the conversation. “Why do you think that” asked Phoebe? Piper and Leo turned to face her. Leo waves for her to come in.

“I don’t want Paige to worry but he’s asking for a break and he really didn’t act like he even wants to follow the leads. I think he’s doing it out of a sense of duty.”

“Paige and Sean had a big fight before he left” explained Piper.

“What about” questioned Leo?

“About him leaving to go find the bag.” said Phoebe.

“She’s afraid he won’t come back from one of these missions. Paige is afraid of losing him” informed Piper.

“Paige is afraid of losing Sean, Why” inquired Phoebe.

“I don’t know but I know she’s really scared” answered Piper.

“She said this” asked Leo.

“She didn’t have to I’m her sister” riposted Piper.

“Her fears might not be missed placed. If Sean doesn’t get his head in the right place” Leo sighed while he wraps his arms around Piper waist and kisses her passionately.

“So what has he found out” asked Phoebe smiling at the both of them.

Leo and Piper break their kiss and Piper lays her head on his chest. Piper like to her his shallow breathing after they have kissed. Piper smiles of how content she feels in his arms. “Nothing but he has a few leads he’s following. We’re just going to have to wait and hope he can find out anything.

Paige got up and walks into the conservatory and Nick followed her.

“What have you seen that has you so upset, Paige” asked Nick

“What do you mean? I haven’t seen anything” lied Paige.

“Paige you maybe able to lie to your sisters and maybe to yourself but you can’t lie to me. Remember I see everything. I know when you’re naughty and nice or whether you’re sleeping or awake. I also know if your lying or if your telling the truth” Nick said with a wink.

Paige closes her eyes and a tear falls down her cheek. “I saw Sean being killed by a group of demons. I know it’s while he is looking for your bag. One of the demons holds it up before the other demons attacks him.”

“You think it’s your fault that this is going to happen” asked Nick.

“Yes because I didn’t tell him” cried Paige.

Nick takes a few steps towards her and takes her hands in his. He bends his legs so he’s at eye level. “You didn’t know it was a vision because it’s not your power, it’s one of the babies powers. How did you know it just wasn’t a dream?”

“I wasn’t sure but now I am and I have no way to stop it. I’m going to loose my husband and my last words to him was in anger” whispered Paige because it was so hard to speak due to the lump in her throat. Paige was so upset she didn’t even hear what Nick said to her.

Nick pulls her into a comforting hug. Paige had never felt so safe in her life. The only time it comes close is when she’s in Sean’s arms and now she will never feel that again. Paige was trying to sniff back the tears but you would have had better luck trying to stop a raging river. “Have faith, Paige, it’s Christmas and it’s a time for miracles.”

If Paige had looked up into Nick’s eyes, she would see a run down diner and Sean walking into it. Nick closes his eyes and a single tear escaped his eye and rolles silently down his cheek.

Piper, Phoebe, and Leo walks into the living room and they hear crying coming form the conservatory. They proceed to go in there and when they get in there they see Nick is comforting Paige. She was sobbing.

“What’s wrong” asked Piper with concern?

Paige breaks away from Nick and wipes away the tears with her hand. “Nothing, I’m just moody that’s all.”

Piper walks up to her little sister and hugs her. Paige tenses up and starts to pull away. Piper breaks the hug but hold on to Paige’s hand and looks into her baby sister’s eyes.

“Paige, honey what’s really wrong? You can tell us anything” Piper said reassuringly.

Paige closes her eyes and could not believe what is about to come out of her mouth. “Sean is going to die and I knew and I didn’t tell him” exasperated Paige.

They all has looks of confusion and shock over their faces but Nick just got preoccupied at lint on his gray suit. He’s trying to ignore the conversation that was going on around him.

“What do you mean you knew” Leo finally asked. He still has a look of confusion on his face.

“I had some kind of vision or premonition. I don’t know what I exactly had or I should say one of the—” Paige voice faded as she remembered what Nick had said earlier. It came to her like a cartoon anvil to her head. Paige’s eyes freezes on Nick. Nick nods and a corner of his mouth twitch, like he’s going to smile but decided not too. Babies, I having babies. She couldn’t believe this is happening. I cant be keep running endless in her head.

“Paige, honey, you were saying” asked Phoebe. Which brought Paige out of her thought and back to a room of her family and Santa Claus looking at her. The three of them wants answers to the questions and one already knew all the answers.

Paige walks up to Nick and look at him with complete confusing and a hint of fear shiny in her eyes.

“I’m having twins” Paige asked surprised. It was like finding out she was pregnant all over again. Nick shook his head; “you’re not having twins. It’s more like triplets.” Nick said with a twinkle in his eyes, “to be more exact identical triplets.”

“Triplet” Piper, Phoebe, and Leo said together.

Paige just stares at Nick in disbelief. She could not quite wrap her mind around the information. She was wondering if she should be happy because right now she just was really scared. She didn’t know if she could raise one baby without Sean. Now she found out she was going to have three.

After a few minutes of happiness, confusion, and now fear, She now had found her voice.

“I’m having identical triplets” Paige said in a shaky voice. “How?”

Nick nods “Well you see the egg splits—”

“I know how” interrupted Paige irritated that Nick would pick this time to be funny.

Nick smiles and calmness and peace flows over Paige but for only a minute.

“They will be very good and powerful. Their teen years will give you some problems but you inflicted your parents with many sleepless nights. Yep you’ve been curse”’ grinned Nick.

“Cursed” said Piper, Phoebe, and Paige together.

“Yeah, you know, I hope when you have kids they’re just like you. It’s the curse that all parents put on their children” laughed Nick.

Piper, Phoebe, and Leo join Nick in his laughter. Paige, on the other hand, did not find the humor in this.

“How do you know I’m having triplets” Paige asked Nick? She was hoping this would stop the laughter at her expense.

“It’s simple, I know about every child who’s about to enter the world” answered Nick cheerfully.

“So what is she having boys or girls” asked Phoebe.

Nick looked at Paige and seen she was beginning to feel overwhelmed by all the information being thrown at her. Paige’s eyes where all glossed over and she was lost in her thoughts. “I think it should be a surprise, call me old fashion, I just think parents should wait until the baby is born” Nick justified. Phoebe frowned at Nick for keeping the sex of the babies to himself. I'll just have to make him tell me later.

“Yea, Missy Paige, when we hear anything about the bag we’ll come and get you” added Piper. Paige simple nodded all of a sudden she was really tired. She left and went upstairs.

“You think she’s going to be ok” asked Leo?

“Yea she’ll be fine” said Piper frowning. Even though the words came out of her mouth. She was not sure Paige was going to be ok. Piper was thinking about how Paige blamed herself for her parent’s death.

“Yea” Phoebe added in a half-hearted agreement.

Leo realized that Piper had been gone for twenty minutes. She had left to check on Wyatt shortly after Paige went upstairs. Leo excused himself and left Phoebe questioning Nick about all the myths about Santa Claus after she couldn’t get him to tell her whether the babies were boys or girls. When he left she was trying to get Nick to tell her how he deliveries all the presents in one night.

Leo was still chuckling to himself when he enters Piper and his room. The room was dark the only light was coming from Wyatt’s night-light. Piper was standing in the doorway watching Wyatt sleep. The night-light was bathing his wife in a luminance glow. Leo pauses for a moment to just treasure what he had and be grateful for it.

Leo walks behind Piper and snakes his arms around her waist. Piper lead back against him. Leo kissed her on the temple, her cheek, and her neck. Leo put his chin on her shoulder. Piper signed and closed her eyes.

“What are you thinking about” asked Leo?

“If this vision thing, Paige had will come true or if it was even real” Piper signed again. “Paige and Sean will never be able to do what we’re doing right now.”

Leo went around Piper so he could face her and look into her eyes. He never let her go as he circled her. “We’ll all be there for her” Leo said softly.

“Honey; believe me, it’s not the same. When you were gone” Piper paused. “Just believe me it’s not the same.”

Leo leans down and kisses Piper. He kisses her trying to re-enforce that he was never going to leave her and Wyatt again.

Paige was lying down on her bed. Paige was resting her head on Sean’s pillow. She could still smell his shampoo on it. She could not go through this without him. Sean had promised her that they would grow old together. He promised and he never breaks a promise.

The radio was playing softly in the background. She heard the DJ break in “Merry Christmas everyone. The next two hours, is going to be Christmas music so phone, email or fax in your request of your favorite Christmas song. We already have a request from Carla. She wants to dedicate I’ll be home for Christmas to her boyfriend who’s stuck in New York in this freak Christmas snowstorm. I hope Santa can make it through that storm because they’ll be a lot of disappointed kids on the East Coast. So Mike if you’re able to listen, Carla is sending this Christmas song to you with love” said the DJ as the song started.

“I’m dreaming tonight

Paige listened as tears fell from her eyes. How the words of the song was her own wish and every tear was her own dedication to the heavens that her husband would be home for Christmas. And if he doesn’t come back her that her heart was going to shatter into a million pieces. She new that Phoebe has change the future with her premonitions but why didn’t she get the chance. Paige then remember she had the chance but never told him. She knew that Christmas would always be the day, she became a widow. How would she explain to her babies that she could have saved their father but didn’t. How can they every forgive me. How can I forgive myself?” Paige finally drifted off to sleep as tears still slowly fell from her swollen eyes.

Sean enters Draco’s diner. It reminds him of some off the road diner. Hes told that he can find Altus here. Clamosus said he would meet him here to introduce him to Altus. Sean has a knot in his gut telling him that something isn’t right.

Sean has to ignore it right now because the bag has to get back to Nick before mid-night. Sean saw Clamosus sitting in a booth in a back counter away from the action and there’s a man with him. Sean assumed that the man, must be Altus, as Sean walks through the diner,. He knew; he was being watched and the knot in his gut tighten.

Sean is starting to think that maybe he was set up. He wondered if he would just turn around right now could he make it out of there alive. It was to late, he came this far he’ll have to go all the way.

He’s thoughts went to his wife and their baby and how they would be without him. If I don’t make it out of here— He has to stay focus on the task at hand.

Sean reaches the table at which the two men were sitting. Clamosus gestures for Sean to sit.

“Hibernicus, this is Altus” said Clamosus grinning. This made every hair on the back of his neck stand on end. Sean simply nods at Altus.

“Clamosus said your interested in joining our team and to stand with the soon to be new Source” said Altus.

Sean knew that Clamosus was part of this group that he was trying to find. Damn if I only knew, What if he followed me to the clearing. “Yea I’m interested. I’m always ready for a little action” said Sean. I’ve just walk right into a trap.

Sean narrowed his eyes and started at the man name Altus. He was trying to get a read off him but nothing was happen. It must be my emotions.

“I can’t say you’re in but I can introduce you to someone who can” explain Altus. “You’re going to have to convince me that you can be trusted.

“How the hell do you want me to do that” growled Sean?

Well, you’ll have to kill someone for us” said Altus smiling but it didn’t reach his eyes.

“Who do you want me to kill” asked Sean?

“The Charmed Ones’ baby” laughed Altus.

“It is forbidden to go after that child” snapped Sean.

“It won’t be if my lord becomes the new Source” uttered Clamosus.

“He’s not the Source yet. If I go after the brat and your lord fails to become the new Source, I’m dead. Either by the Charmed Ones or what’s left of the council will kill me” Sean retorted.

“Are you scared of the Charmed One” questioned Altus?

“No but I’m not a fool either. If you want the brat killed why don’t you do it” demand Sean.

“I have nothing to prove” Altus said calmly.

Sean sits there glaring at the two men. He is trying to figure out how he was going to get out of this alive. He needs to get the bag or at least information about where the bag is. In know way is he going to let harm come to his nephew. He protects the helpless and the innocent, not endanger them. He’s never been put in this situation in the twelve years he’s been doing this for the Ancients. My cover is blown.

“What if I refuse” asked Sean?

The two men just grinned, “your choice.”

“Then I refuse” Sean said as he gets up from the booth and starts to head for the door. A man from another table gets up and blocks his way to the door. Sean looks back to the men in the booth. “What’s going on” demanded Sean?

“We can’t let you leave Hibernicus” said Altus and Clamosus laughed.

“Or should I say Sean” said a voice coming form a dark corner of the diner.

Sean turns to the corner, the voice came from and a man slowly stepping into the light. The man has the bag hanging from his belt. Sean focuses on the bag and wonder how he was going to get it from him.

“Let me introduce myself, I’m Dux” he said with an evil grin. A look of confusion washes over Sean’s face, “ I believe this is what you’re looking for.” Dux starts to spin the bag in front of him. He was taunting Sean to do something.

Sean looks around and he was completely surrounded. Sean tries to flash out but nothing happens. Sean heart starts thumping against his rib cage. It felt that his heart was going to come out of his chest. Think, think, I have to get out of this. Sean tries to form an emerald fireball but nothing happen.

Dux starts to laugh and the others join him. Sean knew he was died.

“I guess I should have stayed home” said Sean. He hoped they didn’t hear the fear in his voice.

“We’re the only ones who can use magic in here. It was my wish. This is an amazing bag. Anything I wish for comes true” informed Dux. “Well goodie for you” said Sean sarcastically.

“I don’t have time for this, kill the spy. Make sure you do it slowly” Dux said shimmering out.

The demons closes in on Sean. He would have to fight his way out. Sean takes out two demons with a spin kick and he hit two others but just as he was about front lift kick another demon, he felt a burning pain in his back. When Sean looked down he see the tip of a sword coming from his chest. Sean starts laughing and falls to his knees. The demon that stabs him with draw the sword and Sean falls face down on to the floor.

“Paige” mumbled Sean and then his eyes closes. The demons shimmers out to join their leader.

Paige is lying in her bed a sleep. She is screaming when Piper and Leo enters her room. Piper sits down on Paige’s bed and starts to shake her.

“Paige Paige wake up” Piper said shaking her awake.

Paige wakes up so quickly that she was sitting up. She sees who is sitting there and Paige hugs Piper as though if she let go she would fall into nothing. “He’s died, Piper”

“Honey, you were dreaming; that’s all. It was just a dream” said Piper reassuringly.

Paige let go and gets off the bed “No it was not, a dream. I was him I saw everything through his eyes. I felt him get stabbed and I felt him die.”

“Paige you were dreaming that’s all. I know you think you was looking through his eyes but that’s not a power I think even exists. I mean even Phoebe’s premonitions can’t do that” said Piper looking over at Leo for his reassurance that she was just dreaming. Leo looks at his wife and shrugs because he wasn’t sure what Paige had seen wasn’t true.

Phoebe and Nick had heard the screaming comes upstairs and run into Paige’s room. “What’s going on” asked Phoebe as she enters Paige’s bedroom.

“Nothing, Paige was just having a bad dream” answered Piper. Piper was trying to calm her baby sister. Paige felt that Piper was being condescending. “I wasn’t dreaming. I was seeing through Sean’s eyes. I felt what he felt. I seen what he seen and I know he‘s died, just because Phoebe’s powers don’t work that way doesn’t mean one of my babies’ powers doesn’t” snapped Paige. “ I’ll prove I was not dreaming.” Paige pushed her way past Phoebe and Nick. Piper and Phoebe looks at Leo and he just shrugs his shoulders. “It’s that all you can do” said Piper harshly. “She might be right. We have no idea, what powers these babies will have. The Elders, including me didn’t even know she was having triplets, so anything is possible” explained Leo.

“Paige is heading for the attic, are we going to follow her” asked Nick? They all left Paige’s bedroom and headed up the attic.

Paige is so angry at the thought that no one believes her that she’s taking two steps at a time. She went to the stand where the book set and Paige starts to fiercely turn the pages. Piper, Phoebe, Leo and Nick enters the attic shortly later. Phoebe walks around the stand and put her arm around her little sister’s shoulders. Phoebe is trying to comfort her. “Honey; take it easy, you’ll tear the pages.

“Here he is, the demon that was there” Paige said pointing at that page. “He’s the one with the bag and ordered Sean’s death.”

Phoebe looked down and starts to read. “Dux is a medium level demon. He was used as the Source’s courier. He has the ability to shimmer and throw energy balls. Here’s a potion to vanish him.

“So what does Fed Ex boy what with the bag” asked Piper.

“He what’s to be the new Source” responded Paige. “That’s what Sean was finding out before they...” Phoebe tightens her grip around Paige’s shoulders.

“Of course, that’s what they all want to be in charge of the underworld” Piper said sarcastically.

“Can he be? I mean could that bag make him the new Source” asked Phoebe?

“I’m afraid so, that bag will allow any wish to come true” explained Nick sadly.

Paige picks up the book “ I’ll start on the potion.” Paige starts to leave the attic, “you write a summoning spell.”

“The potion won’t do any good, as long as, he has my bag” explicated Nick.

“Well I guess one of you better figure out how to get the bag away from him before I get the potion done” said Paige irritated. She walks out of the attic.

“Should we go after her” asked Piper with concern?

“No I think it’s best we just let her work on the potion. I don’t think she’s ready to talk about it yet. I think she just wants to focus on getting the bag back.” Phoebe knew it wouldn’t do any good to force the subject right now.

“I’ll write a summoning spell” said Phoebe. “You figure out how to get the bag away from Dux.”

“Thanks” Piper said mockingly. “I’ll get right on it, I’ll have everything workout in seconds.” Phoebe glares at her; “you don’t have to be sarcastic.”

“I’m sorry. I’m worried about Paige and I have absolutely no idea how to get Santa’s bag away from him. It’s your bag; do you have any ideas” Piper asked Nick? Nick just shakes his head.

“I’ll go check with the other Elders to see if they have any ideas” said Leo kissing Piper and orbs out.

Piper has a very worried look, when she looks towards the attic door. “Piper she’ll be okay as long as, she focus on getting the bag back. I think that’s the only way she can stay in one piece right now. Let’s just get a spell and a plan figured out. We’ll have all the time in the world to comfort her” said Phoebe unhappily. Piper nodded, “Hey where’s Nick?”

As they were talking Nick slip out of the attic to go talk to Paige. When he walk into the kitchen, Paige was stirring ingredients into pot. Paige didn’t hear him come in.

“Paige” Paige jumps at the sound of his voice.

“Don’t do that” exasperated Paige.

“Sorry I didn’t mean to startle you” said Nick. “Umm... What’s your wish?”

“What” said Paige confused?

“Your Christmas wish, I mean if you could ask Santa for anything what would you asked for” clarified Nick?

This is a joke right” asked Paige.

“No I’m deadly serious” said Nick.

“I would wish for my husband to be here on Christmas morning, that I would grow old with him. I want him here to see and hold our babies and I want that everyday love that he loved so much, that I loved. But I’m wishing for the impossible so please let me get back to making this potion” said Paige mournfully.

Nick turned around and was heading out of the kitchen. “The impossible, I wouldn’t be so sure” said Nick under his breath and grinning.

Phoebe was sitting working on the summoning spell. Piper is pacing back and forth. She has no clue how do get the bag away from Dux. She knew a spell would take to long but if Paige could call for the bag. She didn’t want to endanger her and the babies. “What to do, oh what to do” mumbled Piper?

“What” asked Phoebe?

“Do you have the summoning spell done” asked Piper?

“Yep, just finished it. So what about the plan. If Paige could call for it but I don’t know if it would work. I mean if she’s in the middle of calling for it and he makes a wish. I don’t know” Piper said with hesitation.

“Surprise will be on our side” said Nick walking into the living room.

Leo orbs in and he frowns at everyone, “I hope you came up with a plan because we didn‘t come up with one.”

Paige comes into the living room carry three vials of potions. “Are we ready” inquired Paige?

“Well I have a summoning spell but the only thing we can come with, is for you to call for the bag” explained Phoebe.

“Works for me let’s go” replied Paige. Piper and Paige stand on both sides of Phoebe and starts reading the spell.

“Santa travels through wind and snow.

“What was that” asked Piper.

“I know it wasn’t my best work. Lets not worry about it, right now. Here he comes” said Phoebe.

A whirl of wind appeared in the living room and when it settles, standing there was a man in a dark leather coat and Nick’s red bag tuck in his belt.

“What the hell is going on” Dux asked confused?

“Bag” yelled Paige. Orb appeared around the bag and it went into Paige’s hand. Dux formed an energy ball and throws it at Paige. Piper blows the energy ball up right before it hit Paige. Paige turns to find Nick. Phoebe throw the vial of potion and Piper followed and smoke started to rise from where the vials hit Dux. He catches fire and is gone.

“Well that wasn’t as hard as I thought it would be” said Piper. “One of the less climactic vanquishes we’ve done in awhile.” added Phoebe.

Paige find Nick standing in the doorway leading into the living room. Nick walks up to Paige, “I believe that bag belongs to me.” Paige handed him the bag, as soon as, he touch the bag his gray suit turn red and he was dressed from head to toe in fur.

“Now that’s the Santa I know” said Piper grinning.

“Ho, Ho, Ho” laughed Nick

“That sound like the Santa I know” added Phoebe laughing.

“I want to thank you for your help” said Nick “Paige; anything can happen at Christmas time if you only believe” Nick said with sheepish grin.

Nick lies a finger a side of his nose. “Wait” hollered Phoebe. “How do you delivery all those presents in one night” Nick pause and smiles which a peace and good will spread over all of them. “Magic” Nick simply said and giving a nod up the chimney he rose.

Paige left during the flashy exist of Nick. She heads up the stairs to Sean and her room.

“Magic” Phoebe said with a sigh.

“Where’s Paige” asked Leo?

“Do we talk to her now” asked Piper and Phoebe just nodded.

Paige walks into her room and pauses and looks around. Her room never felt so lonely as it does right now. Lying on the back of a chair was Sean’s robe. Paige picks it up, puts it to her nose and inhales his scent. It smelles sweet and spicy, exactly like his shaving cream. When she held it, she swore she could still feel his warmth. The tears that had been burning the back of her eyes were slowly trickling down her cheeks. Paige walks over to sit on her bed but her legs could hardly carry her. Memories were fighting to come to the surface of her thoughts but the memory that was so overwhelming is the one of their fight. How I wish I could take every word back. When Paige made it to her bed, she claspes on it. The tears turns into deep sobs.

Piper slowly open Paige’s door and her and Phoebe enters her room and went and sit down beside her.

“I...don’t...want...to...talk” Paige said between sobs.

Phoebe strokes Paige’s hair. “Honey, you don’t have to go through this alone.”

“It’s my fault he’s dead” said Paige choking back tears. “No, Paige, it’s not” Piper said squeezing Paige’s hand.

“Why do you think that” inquired Phoebe?

“Because I seen it was going to happen and I didn’t warn him. I got into a huge fight with him instead and I wished I said...” The rest of what she was going to say was muffled under her choking sobs.

“It’s going to be ok” said Piper laying down next to her and putting her arm around her, to comfort her. This made Paige cry harder. “It’s going to be ok, Honey.” added Phoebe still stroking her hair.

Hours gone by and Paige finally fell as sleep. “I’ll stay with her tonight” whispered Phoebe. “Are you sure, I could stay, too” whispered Piper. Phoebe just shakes her head. “Ok”’ mouthed Piper as she rose and left the room.

Piper walks into her bedroom. She walks in her bathroom and change for bed. The bedroom has a low glow from the Wyatt’s nightlight. She catches a look at the red glow of her alarm clock. It was two o’clock in the morning. She crawls into bed and pulls the covers up over her. Leo rows over and puts his arms around his wife.

“How’s she doing” Leo whispered in her ear?

“Not very well, she lost her husband. Phoebe is going stay with her tonight. She finally cried herself to sleep” Piper said sadly.

Leo rows on to his back and pulls Piper with him. Piper lays her head on his chest. Leo takes a strand of Piper’s hair and plays with it. “We’ll help her through this” said Leo.

Piper raises up to look at Leo, to see in his eyes. “Can you do anything to bring him back” asked Piper? She couldn’t gauge his reaction because of the darkness but she knew right away his reaction when he spoke.

“Piper...we...we can’t bring him back. It’s not in our power” said Leo cautiously.

“What you really mean is you won’t bring him back because it is in the Elders power to bring people back. I’ll give you an example when they sent Mom back for our wedding” said Piper in a quiet but firm tone.

“Sweetie, that was for a special reason. They did it to say they were sorry for all the trouble they gave us. She was only here until mid-night” whispered Leo.

“Don’t sweetie me, If anyone has the right to come back it should be Sean” said Piper in an undertone.

“They couldn’t bring Prue back and we can’t bring Sean back” Leo said under his breath.

“Don’t you use Pru—”

“Shhh” interrupted Leo

“Don’t you use Prue as your example” whispered Piper angrily.

“I’m not but once someone dies we can’t send him or her back” Leo said sadly but quietly. “Honey, I wish we could. Sean was a great guy. I liked hanging out with him. He was the best brother-in-law I guy ever had.

“Good since your other brother-in-law was the Source of all evil” said Piper half-heartily.

Piper lays her head back down on Leo chest. She is too tired to fight about something her husband couldn’t change. Leo starts to rub his hand up and down her back. She starts to feel the stress of the day slowly leave her body. Piper’s eyes were starting to feel heavy and they starts to close, when they hear a strange nose coming from their roof. Piper and Leo both sit up in bed.

Piper and Leo looked at each other. What was that” asked Piper softly?

“I’m not sure” answered Leo quietly.

Then the noise happens again and they spring from their bed. They meet Phoebe and Paige in the hall.

“What the hell is it” asked Phoebe? Leo and Piper just shrugs their shoulders. The noise came again.

“Is it in the attic” asked Paige?

“No I think it’s on the roof” said Leo very unsure of what exactly was going on.

“This may sound stupid but it sounds like prancing and pawing of eight little hoofs” laughed Phoebe.

They head down the stairs. Piper is in the lead followed closely by Leo, Phoebe and bring up the rear is Paige. She would love to go back to her room but a part of her was curious if Nick was back and why?

Piper walk hesitantly in the living room, where the tree was lit up and knelling down beside it is Nick, aka Santa Claus. Piper stops abruptly when she sees who else is there. Her sudden stop causes Leo and Phoebe to run into her.

“Nick what are you doing here” asked Piper? Phoebe steps out around Leo to observe Nick standing up. “Is everything alright?”

“Oh yes, everything is fine, just leaving a few gifts for you,” chuckled Nick.

“If that all I’m going to bed” said Paige as she starts to head up the stairs.

“Don’t you want to see your gift, Paige” asked Nick?

“It will be there in the morning.” Paige continued up the stairs. Piper, Phoebe and Leo are watching her go.

“But aren’t you a tad bit interested in what it is” said a familiar voice? Paige freezes on the fourth step up. Piper, Phoebe and Leo turns around so quickly you would have though it would have made them dizzy.

It can’t be him. She thought as she slowly turns on the step. Even though she is on the fourth step, it looks like it is a mile to the floor. Paige feels that everything is moving in slow motion. Or is it just me. She finally turn around and walk into the living room. Standing there in the living room dressed in a button up, blue, dress shirt and khakis was a dream. His dark hair was tousled from him running his finger through it when he was anxious. She looks right in his eyes. I’m in my room and I’m dreaming.

“You’re not dreaming” he said with his beautiful smile.

Paige stands there and looks at him. Everything and everyone around them fades away. The only two who are in that room is them. She still could not believe her eyes. Just had to be a dream. He took a baby step towards her. Paige is frozen in the spot.

“How are you here? I saw and felt you die” Paige asked with a shaky voice. She is able to take a couple steps towards him. “Someone I love made a wish to Santa” he answered and he two take more steps forward.

“Oh Sean” said Paige closing the gap between them. Sean takes Paige in his arms and kisses her passionately. Sean breaks the kiss and cups her face in his hands. Paige tears starts to trickle down her cheeks. Sean leans down and kisses her cheeks where the tears were coming down. “Oh, darling, don’t cry, please.” Sean touches his forehead to hers. “I love you. I’m so sorry. I should have listen to you” said Sean now putting his arms around Paige’s waist. Paige reached up and intertwined her fingers behind his neck.

“I can’t believe your here.” After saying this Sean kisses her on her forehead and then places his forehead back against hers. “I’m really here and I’m not every going to leave you again.”

Leo came up behind Piper and snaked his arms around her waist and kisses Piper on her cheek. “Love is a beautiful thing” whispered Leo in her ear. Piper looks up at Leo and brushes her lips to his and then looks back at her little sister.

Paige and Sean starts to kiss again. Paige is afraid that if she stops touching him he would disappear. Their kisses starts to get more heated until Sean got a hold of his emotions and breaks the kisses. “Honey we have an audience” Sean whispered just loud enough for Paige to hear.

As everyone is wrap up in the return of Sean, Nick is able to slip out without anyone noticing. “How and why did you do this” Paige asked Nick but Nick is not there. The only thing that is there is an envelope stuck in the branches of the tree. It is addressed to the Charmed Ones. Paige sliding her hands down Sean’s arms to his hand. She doesn’t want to break contact with him. Paige entwined her fingers with his and pulls him with her to the tree. Paige takes the letter off the tree and finally lets go of Sean’s hand. Sean steps behind her and wraps one of his arms around her waist and placed his hand on her growing belly. Paige began to read the letter to herself.

“Paige can you read it out loud” asked Phoebe?

“Oh I’m sorry” said Paige.

Paige clears her throat.

Dear Piper, Phoebe, & Paige,

“Wasn’t some of that from Francis Pharcellus Church, Yes, Virginia, There is a Santa Claus” asked Piper?

“Yea, Santa is funny. Who’d a thunk it” said Phoebe.

“What good news do you have for me” Sean questioned Paige? Piper, Phoebe and Leo has come closer to them as Paige read the letter. “I’m pregnant with identical triplets” said Paige smiling. “What” asked Sean as a looked of shock came over his face.

“Yep triplets” laughed Piper.

“That’s a lot of messy diapers” added Phoebe teasingly.

Sean smiles and kisses his wife again. “I guess I should give you your presents. Wait here” Sean said finally letting his wife go. Sean walks into the conservatory and a few minutes late in pushes something under a sheet with a big bow on it. He pushed it in front of Paige. “Here you go. Nick gave me the bow” Sean said smiling. Paige looks at Sean and then at her sisters. Piper and Phoebe nods in encouragement. Paige grabs the edge of the sheet and pulls it off and her eyes widen in surprise.

Paige looks at Sean. She couldn’t believe her eyes, setting in front of her is a beautiful oak crib. It is the reason they had been fighting earlier. She was irritated with him because he didn’t like any of the cribs they looked at and now she knew why.

“It’s a crib” said Paige.

“Aye, it is, I made it with my own hands. Sean points at the foot of the crib. “I carved a triquetra in the foot but I carved a triskele into the head” said Sean as he pulled Paige around to the front.

Piper, Phoebe, and Leo made their way around the crib. “You did a real nice job on this” said Leo as he ran his hand along the foot. “It is really beautiful” added Piper as she looks at it.

“You’re a couple cribs short though” added Phoebe smiling. “So you better get carving.”

When Paige and Sean made their way around the crib to the head. “That’s your tattoo you have on your back right shoulder” said Paige pointing at the symbol. “Aye it’s my family’s symbol.”

“Why haven’t you every told me that” asked Paige?

“You’ve never asked” stated Sean. “It means the—”

“Power of three” said Sean and Paige together.

“The Prophecy” said Paige in an after thought.

“What” said Piper and Phoebe together?

“Your family’s symbols represents three. A member of your family had a prophecy about the good power that we would bring into this world and about us finding each other. Sean we’re having triplets. Colm knew I was going to have triplets” Paige said convincingly.

“The triskele is an ancient druid symbol and it represents sea, sky and earth” said Sean shaking his head. “My family’s powers are associated with those elements.”

“So the babies’ powers will also related to that, as well” added Phoebe supporting her sister theory.

“Let’s not worry about that right now” said Sean pulling a present out of the crib. “The crib I guess is for one of our babies but this is for you.” It is about twelve inches long by six inches wide. It is beautifully wrapped in shiny blue Christmas wrapping paper. The paper is cover with holly and snowflakes and it is wrapped in a ribbon and a bow. Sean hands the gift to Paige. Paige takes the ribbon off and pulls the lid off the present. Paige’s eye again widen in surprise.

Paige turns and looks at Sean. She could not believe what he got her. Before she pulled off the lid of the box the idea of jewelry ran through her thoughts but this was one thing she would have never expected this. She pulls out a piece of paper. The paper is a deed for a house, to be more exact, the house next door, 1327 Prescott.

“What is this” questioned Paige?

“It’s my gift to you” answered Sean

“A House” Paige said handing the piece of paper to Piper!

“This is Dan’s old house. It’s next door” said Piper.

Sean nodded, “We will be next door and you can make Paige’s room into Wyatt’s room.”

Paige was wondering how he got it. I mean, as far as she knew the people weren’t interested in selling. “How did you get it, were they selling it?”

“No but I talk to them and gave an offer and they took it” explained Sean.

“What about the loft” inquired Paige. “You love it.”

“I still own it and I’m leasing to a new professor at university” explained Sean.

Paige hugs and kisses her husband. “I love it. I just wished you had told me.”

“If I would have done that it would not have been a surprise then” Sean replied laughing.

Paige grabs his hand and starts to go to the door. “Darling, where are we going” asked Sean as Paige leads him away?

“To go look at our house” replied Paige.

Sean stop and Paige looks at him, “What’s wrong”

“There’s more to the gift” Sean said as reach in the back pocket of his khakis. He pulls out a piece of paper. Paige, Piper, Phoebe, and Leo look at him with curiosity. He looks at them a grin crosses his lips. He was enjoying this. The happiness that was in his wife’s eyes. He lost his family twelve years ago and he almost left this family tonight but this wasn’t about him. It was about us.

“This is a kind of spell. I think it would be easier if I just show you” said Sean unfolding the paper. “Oscail, living room” everyone looks at Sean as if he lost his mind.

“What did you say” asked Piper raising one of her eyebrows? Sean attention turns to Piper and her question. “Oscail, it is Gaelic for open.”

“Oh, I knew that” Piper said sarcastically. Sean looks at her and narrows his brow at her and then Sean chuckled and shook his head.

“Sean, honey, we’re in the living room and open what” stated Paige looking around the room? Sean smiles and step forward in front of her. Sean puts his hand in front of him and with his hand he reached forward. When his fingers were about a foot in front on him, he touched something in mid-air a ripple effect started and spread to an area of about six feet in diameter. Everyone’s eyes widen at what they were seeing.

From where the ripples began it started to reveal a room, a dark room. When the ripples stops the room was gone. The area was back to normal but they still could tell there was something there.

“What the hell is that” demanded Piper?

“It’s a doorway to our house. I connected the houses together, so we can go from one house to the other by simply calling for the doorway and walking through. Any of us can call for it” said Sean.

“Let me get this straight. You call for this doorway and you can walk right into your house or if we’re over there we can call for this doorway thingy and can come back to the Manor” asked Phoebe?

“Exactly right” Sean agreed. “Are we ready?”

“Sure” said Phoebe hesitantly.

Sean smiled and took Paige’s hand, “We have to join hands or the doorway would close when Paige and I go through.” Phoebe grabs Paige’s and Piper grabs Phoebes and Leo’s. “Oh wait, I have to go get Wyatt” said Piper. “No you don’t he’ll be fine.” Piper gave him a look of daggers. “I promise he’ll be fine” Sean said with reassurance.

They follow Sean through the doorway. When they enter the invisible doorway the ripples began and the room was reveal and as long as they were going through. There is a constant wave of ripples. They arrive in the dark room and when Piper, Phoebe, Paige and Leo turned around they could see the living room of the Manor disappearing as the ripples stop moving. “Oh let me get the lights” said Sean flipping a switch.

The walls were bare except for the shadows left for the previous owners wall art. The floors were oak and recently refinished. There was a fragrance of pine in the room. It must have been left over from when the previous owner cleaning the house. The front door of the house open up into a small sitting room. The small sitting room opens up in to the spacious living room and that’s where they all stood. In the living room there was an open staircase to the second floor, which contained the bedrooms. As you came out of the small sitting room and turn left through glass French doors you would enter the parlor. From enter the parlor and turning right into more glass French doors you would enter into the dining room that had built in china cabinets that also contained bevel glass doors. If you would go to the back of the dining room and turn right again you would enter a spacious kitchen and in the kitchen it had a breakfast nook and island. There was a small laundry room off the back of the kitchen. The laundry room had a door to the outside. There was a door in the kitchen that led to the basement. There was also a small staircase that led to the upstairs from the kitchen.

Paige let go of Sean hand and drag Phoebe and Piper to the small sitting room and then into the parlor Paige was on her way to explore her new home. A few hours ago she thought she was a widow but now Sean was here, my best Christmas every.

Sean leans up against the doorframe to watch his wife look around. Sean was smiling and his eyes had a look like he knew the ultimate secret. Leo lends against the other side of the doorframe and chuckled.

“What’s so funny” Sean asked Leo?

“Nothing really” Leo was trying to stop himself from smile.

“No it’s something, so what is it” demanding Sean standing up straight? This made Leo just laugh at him, “It’s your face.”

“What’s wrong with my face?” Sean took his hand to his face and starts to wipe it.

“Nothing, it’s the look you have on it when you’re watching Paige.”

“What look is that?” Sean gaze went back to his wife. He hears her talking about how she could decorate the parlor and how Piper made some comment that Leo was good with his hands.

“That look” Sean attention went back to Leo. “The look of love and admiration for your wife,” Leo smiled.

“I don’t have any look.”

Leo shook his head, “Yes you do and I know it well.”

“From where” asked Sean half-heartedly?

“The mirror, my friend” Leo said looking at his wife. Sean made a sideway glace and smiles.

“Would you like to see the upstairs” inquired Sean as he walk to them and Leo follows still chuckling to himself.

Sean lead the way up the stair. He knew that he would give anything to Paige just to keep her smiling. He is whipped and proud of it. Phoebe spoke to him and brought him out of his thoughts.

“What did you say” asked Sean glazing back to her?

“Isn’t that spell, I mean joining the houses together wouldn’t that fall under personal gain” said Phoebe looking from Sean to Leo.

“No because it’s a form of a druid protection spell. So you can call for help when you need it. So know one personal gains from it, not exactly” explained Sean.

“Leo” said Piper for confirmation that what Sean was say was true. Leo just nodded, “yes.”

They reach the second floor and they walk up to a door on the right. “This is the Master bedroom” said Sean slowly opens the door. Sean steps aside to allow Paige and the others to enter the room before him.

Paige enters the room and stops and turns around. “Sean, you should’ve.” Tears starts to burn the corner of her eyes.

Sean takes a few steps and comes up behind Paige and snakes his arms around her. Paige turns around in his arms and looks up into his smile. “This is too much, Sean.”

Sean leans down and places a small kiss on her forehead. “Nothing is too much if it makes you smile like that.”

Paige shakes her head, “The crib, the house and now this.”

“Paige, honey, what’s wrong with the bedroom set” asked Phoebe? “It’s beautiful.”

“I know it’s beautiful, I seen it in a magazine and—”

“She said that she would love to have bedroom set, when we moved out of the Manor. We are moving out so I got her the set” interrupted Sean.

Paige grabs Sean’s face into her hand and made him look at her. “Sean, we can’t—”

“Afford this,” said Sean finished her sentences. Paige nodded. Sean smiles and brushes his lips to hers. “Do you remember when we where in the cottage in Ireland” Paige nodded. “And I told you that we could live comfortable for the rest of our lives” Paige nodded again. “Let’s just say our grandchildren’s children can live comfortable for the rest of their lives.”

“How much money do we have” questioned Paige?

“We have enough” answered Sean. Paige frowns and pushes back out of Sean’s embrace. “How much is enough, Sean?”

Sean takes a deep breath and grabs Paige pulls her into his embrace and kisses her passionately. Paige pulls back from the kiss, “Don’t try to distract me, buster, because it’s not going to work just answer the question.”

Sean sighed. “Can’t we discuss this later?” Paige shook her head. Sean let go of her and walk away from her and further into their bedroom. “Paige, I’m...We’re worth millions.”

“Millions” said Phoebe in shock?

“Why didn’t you say something” asked Piper?

“Because to me it’s just money and the things that I buy with it is just stuff. It doesn’t mean anything to me. My whole family never let anyone know how much we were worth. Family is what’s important, Paige.”

Paige walks over to Sean and wraps her arms around him. “Sweetie, I know family is what’s important. I don’t care how much money you have. You know I love you don’t you.” Sean nodded and Paige rose up on her tiptoes to kiss him. “I love the bedroom set.”

“I guess you two won’t have to worry about cost of diapers” said Piper. “Because with triplets, you’re going to need a lot” added Phoebe smiling. Paige and Sean break their kiss and smile. Sean grabs Paige’s hand and pulls her out of the room and the other’s follow. Sean turns right and heads up the hall a short distance and open’s and pulls her into another room. It was right next door to the master bedroom. “I thought this could be the nursery” Sean said happily.

Paige let go and moved around the room. She could see exactly how she would decorate the room. She had decided that she would paint good mystic creatures and fairy tale characters on the walls. She could see how it would all turn out. She knew now where the cribs would set and where to put the changing table everything was in front of her.

“Sean we could put a door there” Leo said pointing to a place in the wall. Then you wouldn’t have to go out in the hall.” Sean smiled, “I really thought we would just use cameras and the monitor set through out the house.

Piper and Phoebe came up along the side of Paige. “Whatcha thinking”

“How I’m going to decorate the nursery” said Paige smiling. “Honey, we’re glad that Sean is back” said Piper. “Yea” added Phoebe.

They heard an off distance sound that sound like crying. “Did you buy my sister a haunted house” asked Piper?

The crying was getting louder. It was all around them. Sean looks at Piper when he realizes who was crying. “Piper, it’s Wyatt he needs you. I forgot that the spell also could spread sounds from one house to another” said Sean smiling.

“Leo orb me over there” demand Piper.

“Piper calls for the doorway. You might as well use it now” suggested Sean.

“How do I do it” Piper asked anxiously?

Sean smiled and told the word and to tell what room she wanted to enter.

“Oscail, Wyatt’s room” Piper said apprehensively. “Is it there?”

“Can’t you feel it? If not just stick your hand out in front of you and you should feel it” explained Sean?

Piper did exactly that; she put her hand out in front of her and came in contact with energy. It made her hand tickle kind of when you hit your funny bone. The ripple affect started and she saw Wyatt standing up in his crib crying. She didn’t hesitate one second longer. She steps through the doorway. When she arrived into the room Wyatt reached up for his mother. Piper felt badly for allowing her son to get so upset. She picks him up and kisses his forehead. Piper rocks him back and forth to calm him down then just like before she called for the doorway and she walks through in to Paige and Sean’s new nursery.

Phoebe, Leo, Paige and Sean were standing in a circle of conversation. Piper enters the room holding a calming Wyatt. She walks over to Leo.

“Hey, little man did you think we left you” asked Leo as he rubs his son’s head.

“Sean that’s a pretty handy spell you put on the houses” Piper said smiling. “I think it will work great. I just have one question will we here all noise coming from each other houses.

“No just if someone calls for you. Wyatt was calling for someone to come get him, so we heard his cries” clarified Sean.

“This is just going to be handy little spell” Phoebe said smiling. “I really thing I’m going to like this.”

Paige has her arms wrapped around Sean’s waist and he held her in a one-arm embrace. Paige raises up and Sean lowers his head to allow Paige to whisper in his ear.

“Hey know whispering, If you have something to say, say it so everyone can hear it” said Phoebe grinning.

“Ok, Oscail second floor hallway” said Paige letting go of Sean and ushering everyone towards the invisible doorway.

“Are you trying to get rid of us” asked Piper teasingly?

“Yes” Paige said flatly.

“Ok...Ok you don’t have to be so pushing we’re going. Remember we’re opening presents at ten a.m.” said Piper.

“We’ll be late” added Sean smirking.

Just before they move through the doorway they heard sleigh bells. “Merry Christmas to all shouted Santa. “And to all a goodnight.
