I just started this blog so there isn't much yet, but if you read my profile you can see what I want to do with this blog. I write poetry, but I also enjoy reading other people's poetry and a few days ago I read a poem that I thought was so simple and so powerful at the same time. The poem was written by a Vietnam veteran. The poem was his reaction to seeing "The Wall." Not only did this poem help me to have an insight into my father, who is also a Vietnam vet, but it makes me look at the world today and wish that the world could understand what he was saying.
