Hi! Glad you made it to my little web page. I will be upgrading it from time to time once I learn how to do that. I'm not that good with techno stuff. *L*
Ok, a little bit about me. I currently live in California, was raised in Buffalo, NY. The weather here is ok....but I do miss the seasonal changes....especially the snow. Oh yeah, I could drive to the north and see it...but to me it's not the same..*shrug* I don't know why. Anyway, I have 3 daughters, Liz is 30, and had 5 children:
Amanda 10
Kenny 9
Cyrstal 8
Victoria 5
Erin 3.
She only has Erin with her now. (long story)
You can see their picture with a link at the bottom of the page. Next is Jennifer 22, She lives in NY. She had a daughter in December of 2000 named Felicity Diane. (I don't have any pictures of her)
Then there is my Baby, Michelle 20. She is still at home and is a great soul. *g*
I lost my husband in April of '97' due to a sudden heart attack. I thought it was the end of life as I knew it. So I joined a support group to help me and and my daughter (Michelle) get through it. One of the ladies I became friends with told me about this chat room that she joined to help her. I had no idea at the time what she was talking about, but the more she talked about it, I decided to buy a computer. In September of '97' I joined TalkCity. The first room I went into was parenting-teenage. They were great, always friendly and very helpful. Then I found parenting-grandparents. That was the only room I went into for 4 years. Since then I have quit TC. (they changed owners or politics) LOL Anyway, there was one special person that I met in the GP room 5yrs ago. He came in and was very shy, so I started to talk to him to make him feel more comfortable. He was new to this computer world so I helped him get to know more about it. Pretty soon we were talking more and more, and before I knew it....WHAM!! I was in Love! *S* He lives in Louisiana, and has the most wonderful soul I've ever seen. I went to visit him and met his family in '99' They are a crazy bunch but it was the best 2 weeks I ever spent. I LOVE YOU BABAY *KISS*
I look for honesty.....it's a big thing with me. When I talk with people I look into their eyes....and I expect the same. The way I look at it is if you can't look a person in the eyes when you talk to them......then you are hiding something. "The eyes are windows to your soul"
I like the sound of a child's laughter, the sparkle in their eyes when they discover somethng new, the feel of their hugs, and watching them sleep. I like to read horror stories, Dean Knootz is my favorite. Movies...the more blood and guts the better! *L* I like all kinds of music, from country to classical. (except jazz) My favoite food it Italian, and now Cajun. *g* I love Etufa!
My favoite season is winter. I was born in snow so to speak...almost a Christmas baby. I like a good old fashioned thrunder storm.....where I live now, we don't get them much. Well, I could go on and on but think I'll stop here. :-)
This list will be a lot shorter, I don't like liars or thieves...or jazz. Oh yeah....or okra!! LOL
