Ian was bugging me to update my website so... yeah!
...am i done now? *offstage whisper* NO!
ok, geeze sorry...
I'm very tempted to say that nothing is new, only so I can escape the pain of having to go over recent events and re-experience the pain of loosing all my best friends to the evil LORD UNIVERSITY!
but would I, Queen of Melodrama and Exaggerated Everything, let an opportunity to get emotional and perhaps evoke tears, pass? OF COURSE NOT!
Unfortunatly I am very tired and need my rest for tomorrow... the LAST AND FINAL DAY OF THE SUMMER OF MY 16TH YEAR OF LIFE! We need to make BIG plans... call me if you have any ideas what we can do...
I miss you and wish you were here with me...
If every day with you is like pancakes for breakfast, but pancakes are only good with syrup, then...
Ok i have no idea where that was going, but the point is I MISS YOU!
come home now, ok?
ok...
you know you love me...

GREATEST NIGHT EVER!
Ok so all things considered, I *highly* doubted there was any way in potato land that my parents would let me stay home this weekend. Aside from the obvious fact that I'd have to find a house to stay at and a way to get to rehearsal on Sunday (today) there was the fact that my sister finished camp on Saturday (yesterday) and I figured they wouldn't let me miss the "picking the sibling up from camp after two weeks away" ritual.
Well, at least not without an intense guilt trip.
I guess that's why it was so surprising that my mom just offered that I stay with Donna (my awesome hippie neighbour) until Monday, and then come up to the cottage with her then (only to come back home with my mom on Monday night).
So all in all, I love my parents!
Back to BARNSTOCK! and the true reason I'm rushing to post this before scurrying off to rehearsal (ugh.)...
(skipping most boring pre-barnstock details...)
Ian and I grabbed a sushi dinner and got some alcohol for the night before picking up Wes and Laura C. We then headed out to Mike's house, music blaring, and nearly missed the place twice cause we had no idea where we were (also, Laura and I had different addresses...) When we got there, The Atomic Drops (sex me, sex me, SEX ME!) were playing, so we caught most of their show. Freaking awesome! Then I opened bottle #1 of my Smirnoff and the night only got better from there...
I don't know how much anyone cares about, nor how much anyone wants to hear. I assume that if I gave you all the details of the night, more than a couple of the people reading this would leave or want to hit me over the head. Then there's the fact that most of the people who read this were there (2 out of 3, anywayz :p). So here's the deal; if you really want to know, ask my next time you talk to me and I'll be more than happy to give you all the details of the night.
total count:
GIHMOW: 3
BTICHMOW but that I didn't (last night): 5
SIMTF: 3
Woot! Last night made history!
anywayz, I'm running late for rehearsal... ttfn!
you know you love me... and I love you back :)

12:14am(still my Monday night)
In an effort to make it more powerful when I do use it, I try to keep swearing to a minimum in less than extreme situations.
FUCK
I am going to miss BARNFEST! on Saturday because I have to join my family at the cottage to pick my sister up from camp. Then, as if that wasn't bad enough, I have to stay up there until Monday. MONDAY! Talk about cruel and unusual punishment.
Well, maybe just cruel.
ARGH ARGH ARGH ARGH! Mad beyond belief!
Until Adam reminded me of that (thanks Adam, lol! (just kidding Adam, I luv you)), I was in a SUPER HAPPY mood. This is all I had to say:
1. ugh... I was going to say something about something but now all I can think about is stupid barnfest!
2. DOES ANYONE WANT TO HOUSE ME FOR THE WEEKEND?!?!? PLEASE?!?!?! SAVE ME FROM THE COTTAGE SO I CAN GO TO BARNFEST!!!!
...that is all
you know you love me... SO LET ME STAY AT YOUR PLACE THIS WEEKEND SO I CAN GO TO BARNFEST, PLEASE!

Sorry for the lack of updates recently, I've been deprived of the internet due to my computer's moodiness and refusal to work properly. I would like to extend my extreme appreciation and gratitude to Wes (for recommending the place that fixed my computer), the Kappa guy (for fixing my computer), and my mommy (who payed for the fixing of the computer). God this is starting to sound like the Grammys... In which case I would also like to thank God, and the producers, and the rest of the cast. That is all.
I checked out my little sister's website for the first time ever today. HOLY MOTHER OF PEARL I never knew how incredibly "ghetto" she is. Or thinks she is. Or acts. Either way, I very nearly threw up all over the computer. But then I remembered that I just got it fixed, so luckily I was able to stop myself in time.
I left a message in her guestbook (or "$G-BOOK$" as she prefers to call it...)on my way out. Take a look:

This would be a long update, but Ian won't leave me alone and I only have a short time online (I'm at my cottage). Unfortunatly my computer at home is (as my mother says) "on the fritz". Stupid harddrive.
So I got an email from Caitlin the Magnificent telling me all about BARNFEST! which is apparently a concert-ish thing at this guy Mike's house. I haven't heard much about it except that Tranquil *might* be playing (for those of you who were at Battle of the Bands, they were the ones with the sexy drummer with the even sexier 'fro). It's $5 to cover cost of food and drinks, and I might make a guest appearance (meaning it MUST be cool if it's worthy of my presence). So yeah... email moi if you'd like more info or think you might want to check it out...
Enough shameless advertising.
you know you love me... but you're still a jerk.

12:37am (still my Wednesday evening...)
Argh and double ARGH!
All week now I've had problems with MSN. I can't seem to log in or anything! It says it's a problem with my internet connection, but I can get on ICQ just fine. It's not my password either cause I can read my email sans-problem. I've tried everything from checking the msn FAQ thing and making sure all is well to uninstalling and reinstalling the program. I've also tried GAIM, but even that couldn't get through due to an "error accessing the server". I'm this (--->(this)<---) close to giving up... anyone have any suggestions?
Other than that, I worked for 10 hours or so today... and by "worked" I mean "removed MSN from the work computer (grr... the one place I could get it to work...) played solitaire, listened to music, put numbers in spreadsheets, calculated numbers to put in the spreadsheet, went to dollar store to buy paper clips... came back with pads of paper, storage box things, pens, hangers, and other non-paper clip items instead... and talked on ICQ" in case that still sounds like fun to you, IT WASN'T. But hey, I made about $75 so I'm complaining less than I would be if I weren't making the money.
Lalalalalala trip downtown tomorrow!
Ian has a new crush! lalalalala
I mean... uh... Skiin' has a nude brush! Yes... that's the one...
"Operation: UNI!" is also moving along nicely, which is cool
Now let's just say you were talking with someone and out of nowhere they decide to tell you that they have an iron deficiency... What would you say?
Furthermore, "duuh-uhh-UHH! I'm a song from the sixties!" Greatest HomestarRunner character ever. :p
Anywayz I'm tired so I'm heading to bed... tomorrow perhaps I'll go into a lengthy debate about pain and suffering... or maybe I'll just do what I always do and bore you all with ALL of the details of my day... depends on my mood... ;)
sweet dreams!
you know you love me... but you should really try to stop now before you wade in too deep...

10:20pm
Just got back from a week at the cottage. My neck hurts.
But it was a fun week! Day 1 and 2 were super sucky, which is sad because those were the only days Ian and Jeff were up for (they weren't the reason those days sucked, for the record), but later on in the week we started getting nicer weather and things made a turn for the better. We also got to check out "Midnight Madness" in town on Friday (who knew there were so many people in the Haliburton area!), and went to the Highlands Cinema to see Tomb Raider II: Cradle of Life. Other than that, we had fun playing in the lake, jumping off the cliffs at Divers', playing N64 and making fun of our annoying neighbours. Ahhh cottage life!
I'm so incredibly bored...
On the bright side, I have BIG! plans for this week...
(and by BIG! I mean minimal)
1. Go back for ROUND DEUX (2) in that cool bookstore on Main St. and ask that guy about his favorite book.
2. Get 4 (or 8) single sheets and use my magical sewing powers to create PITA POCKETS! (it's all part of my "mistress plan: OPERATION UNI")
3. Buy more supplies for OPERATION UNI
4. Venture back downtown for plan: REPAIR! OR to Value Village to buy a cool kilt for operation: civies
5. Buy a new diary
Anyone want to help or join in on the fun? If so don't hesitate to drop me a line. I'll let you know if you qualify... ;)
Anywayz I think I am going to get an early night tonight as I have a big day ahead of me tomorrow (week goals #1 and 3, if I'm feeling ambitious) and I'd like to take my brand new running shoes for a test drive early morning run... if I get up in time... which I won't... but I'd like to remain optimistic and think that I wouldn't give up a new fitness plan on the first day, lol.
remember, just because you escaped death once (by substantially exceeding the recommended weekly intake of "Catherine"), doesn't mean you're immune... it just means you're crazy-lucky ;)
you know you love me... and I doubt I'll ever find anyone who'll ever love me like you do...
