The Stables

The stables are the pride and joy of Bellevue. Housing nearly fifty horses, Bellevue is home to some of the best horses in the world. Both thoroughbreds and Arabians are kept in the stables, though there are relatively few thoroughbreds as of yet. The thoroughbreds are a relatively new addition to the stables, Arabians being Bellevue's traditional horse.

Meet the Residents

A favorite of Callie's is Halima. Halima, in contrast to her name (which means "gentle"), is no placid creature. Fiery, and full of life, Halima is in her prime at 7 years of age.
Akil, a beautiful three year old gelding, is full of spirit and spice. A gorgeous show horse, he is an even better ride, his gait as smooth as can be.
Amunet, a seasoned trail horse, is 13 years old. Placid and gentle, she is the dame of both Abasi and Akil. She is the central mare involved in the rehabilitative riding program Callie hosts on her property.
Rashid, a stallion prized for his flawless white coat and impeccable gait, is nine years old. High-strung, he's far too volatile to be involved with Callie's rehabilitation program.
Abasi, a six year old stallion, is the spitting image of his mother, Amunet. Though coveted by many in the equine world, only Callie and a few select people get to work with this magnificent creature.
A pure black stallion, Azizi is exactly what his name means- precious. By far Callie's favorite stallion, Azizi is just shy of his fourteenth year. Despite his formidable appearance, he is a sweetheart, and the most important horse in Callie's rehab program.

Though many more horses reside in Callie's stables, these are a few of the shining stars.
