La Casa Del Mar is situated in a charming two-story Mediterranean villa, built early in this century by the famous architect William Vaughn for the Francis Colter family who resided there until it became a small hotel in the 50's.
Our 13 theme rooms in this Spanish-Mediterranean B&B, situated a stone's throw from the beach, are splendid, with private baths, each decorated in a motif inspired by an artist (such as Monet, Kandinsky, Picasso and Dali ), or music like our Jazz room.
Enjoy exquisite personal service by the English and German-speaking co-owners. A delicious continental breakfast is served in the main house but can be enjoyed outdoors under a mango tree in the resplendent garden. The swimming pool is a great place to mingle in the late afternoon where you can share wine and cheese with the other guests, who range from young couples to savvy European travelers. There are countless great restaurants within walking distance. The heart of Fort Lauderdale - Las Olas - with all the galleries, boutiques, and fine restaurants, as well as River Walk are only 15 minutes away.
