Mediterranean villa, built early in this century by the
famous architect William Vaughn for the Francis
Colter family who resided there until it became a
small hotel in the 50's.
Our 13 theme rooms in this Spanish-Mediterranean B&B,
situated a stones throw from the beach, are splendid, with
private baths, each decorated in a motif inspired by an artist
(such as Monet, Kandinsky, Picasso and Dali ), or music
like our Jazz room.
Enjoy exquisite personal service by the English and German-speaking co-owners. A delicious continental breakfast is served in the main house but can be enjoyed outdoors under a mango tree in the resplendent garden. The swimming pool is a great place to mingle at a late afternoon where you can share wine-and-cheese with the other guests, who range from young couples to savvy European travelers. There are countless great restaurants within walking distance. The heart of Fort Lauderdale - Las Olas - with all the galleries, boutiques, and fine restaurants, as well as River Walk are only 15 minutes away.
