FLAPJACK

100g Margarine 50 Brown Sugar
2 tablespoon Golden Syrup 150g Porridge Oats
25 Plain Flour

 

 

1. Place margarine, sugar and syrup in the small saucepan and melt over a low heat, stirring all of the time.

2. Off the heat and stir in the flour and porridge oats, mix well.

3. Put the mixture in the greased tin, press down and smooth surface.

4. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.

5. Make into squares whilst warm and leave in the tin to cool.

6. Store in an airtight container.

VARIATIONS:

ADD Raisins/Dates/Apricots/Mangoes/Nuts into the mixture, if too dry , add syrup.
