Out! - What is wrong with the children of today?
On June 20, 2003, I drove past Barnes & Noble at
approx. 9:00 p.m. I saw about 200 kids and parents
lined up all around Barnes & Noble awaiting the
release of the new Harry Potter book at midnight.
They were going to wait 3 hours outside just for a
book?!?! What is the point of getting the book at
midnight? Why can't kids just wait for tomorrow
afternoon or evening to get the book? IT IS ONLY A
SILLY BOOK! No wonder J.K. Rowling is richer than
the Queen of England. |
