Bowling for Soup - Formed in Wichita Falls, Texas, USA, this pop punk quartet was formed in 1994, with its roots reaching back to a two-man music comedy team (vocalist/guitarist Jaret Reddick aka Jaret Von Erich and bass player Erik Chandler aka Erik Rodham Clinton), that specialized in acoustic tunes and cover versions of 80s glam metal songs. With a second guitarist signed on (Chris Burney aka Christopher Van Malmsteen) and a friend filling in on drums, Bowling For Soup issued their first release, a seven-song EP, Tell Me When To Whoa!, for the independent FFROE label.

A year after the appearance of their debut album, 1998's Rock On Honorable Ones!!!, the drum position was occupied by a permanent new member, Gary Wiseman aka Gary Wiseass. A recording contract with major label Jive Records soon followed, resulting in the release of 2000's Let's Do It For Johnny! (which spawned the popular novelty track, "The Bitch Song') and 2002"s Drunk Enough To Dance (that featured the endearing UK hit single, "Girl All The Bad Guys Want".)
