Coldplay
- Coldplay, a 4-member band, was founded
in 1996 on the grounds of University College
of London. It was there where, Chris,
Guy, Jonny, and Will, shared their passions
for music.
Their first EP,
Safety, was released in May 1998, with
only 500 limited copies made. With the
success of Safety, Coldplay released
their single, Brothers and Sisters, the
following year under the label, Fierce Panda.
Coldplay's Brothers and Sisters landed
them on the London Charts. |
|
Their
mellow voice and unique guitar backgrounds was
soon discovered by major label Parlophone.
In 1999 under Parlophone, Coldplay released
another EP named The Blue Room. |
|
Coldplay is gradually turning heads of music
listeners with their past two albums, Parachutes
and A Rush of Blood to the Head.
Their songs, Yellow and
Clocks. are
being played on MTV, VH1, and on radios across the
world. Both tracks made Billboard's Hot 100
