- Comedic actor Adam Sandler (news) has gone from
"Punch-Drunk Love" to holy matrimony.
The 36-year-old performer over the weekend married
his longtime girlfriend, model/actress Jackie
Titone (news), in a private ceremony, his
publicist said on Monday.
The couple reportedly met in 1999, when she
appeared in Sandler's film "Big Daddy" and in the
Rob Schneider (news) comedy "Deuce Bigalow: Male
Gigolo," which Sandler executive-produced. She
also had a part in Sandler's horror comedy "Little
Nicky."
The former "Saturday Night Live (news - Y! TV)"
star, who once dated actress Alicia Silverstone
(news), was most recently in theaters with Jack
Nicholson (news) in "Anger Management."
Sandler's other film credits include "The Wedding
Singer," "The Waterboy," "Mr. Deeds" and
"Punch-Drunk Love," which earned him a Golden
Globe nomination.
