The activities planned and implemented were intended for the family. In respect with our major, we applied an across the lifespan approach. Our target clientele were children, youth, adults, and the community as a whole. For children, we taught at the Day Care Center, conducted seminar on Autism and Feeding Programs. In response to the needs of the youths, we organized seminars on Sexual Coercion and Love and Relationships. With regards to the adults, there was seminar on Women’s Rights and Protection and Gender Fair Treatment of the Girl Child and a trip to UPLB for the elderly. And for the welfare of the whole community, activities such as Medical Mission, Anti-Rabies Vaccination drive, and seminars in Livelihood and Consumer Education were performed. In addition, the team interviewed the Bantay Bayan for their Philhealth insurance and supported the Department of HFDS with their early marriage research in the barangay. Every week, a report was submitted for evaluation purposes. |
